"Why have a house, when you spend more than twenty hours of your day in the forest?" Alpha Alexander said to his twin brother who was trying to quietly walk past him.

"Alexander, always sticking your nose where it doesn't belong," Jake muttered as he stopped and turned to face his brother.

Alexander raised an eyebrow, his golden eyes gleaming with amusement. "Well, brother, it's hard not to when you're wandering around the forest like some lone wolf."

"Hmm..." Jake sighed heavily. "And how is that your business?"

"Well... not like I care but for someone who desperately wants to be the head of the pack, you sure move out a lot."

"Stay out of my business" Jake clenched his fists, his frustration bubbling to the surface. "You don't understand, Alexander. There's more to life than being Alpha. But nevertheless, you should enjoy your tenure while it lasts. Once I have the woman of my dreams in my arms, I'm taking the throne."
