Disconnected

David pulled the Wolfsbane dart out of his body. As Daniel is beyond weak, he couldn't pierce the dart deeper inside Davids's body. But just a shallow scratch from the dart froze David for more than ten minutes. After he removed the dart, he howled with anger.

Daniel and Riley who are trying to run away from David froze with shock.

"Dad, it's David. Looks like he is angry. He is going to come after us. We have to run faster" Riley urged her dad.

But Daniel is weak and he knows that he cannot outrun David, even though they had a ten minutes head start.

"Riley, I cannot run. I will slow you down as well. You run and save your life. I will try to stop him" he negotiated, feeling tired.

Riley looked at the forest around them feeling helpless.

"No dad, I cannot leave you here. I thought I lost you too. But the goddess has given me another chance. Leaving you here is impossible. I cannot lose you when I just got you back. Let's run. We might find some help" she urged him.

Daniel and
