A new kind of friendship.

"Oh." She had said.

Here we both were, standing in the hallway.

Despite her words about us starting over again, she remained skittish. Sure, she was slightly more relaxed, and didn't try to run from me or get aggressive. But I easily sensed her anxiety, as light as day.

Aside from the few most awkward conversations, we hadn't said a word to each other.

Her hair was packed in a messy bun. Her clothes were far too oversized, it looked like she hadn't gone anywhere, nor was planning to.

And she was still there, staring at me.

"How is... Treasure?" I began the conversation.

Was it me or her shoulders rose a bit. I knew she was not used to me. I still understood nothing about her past or her reasons, but for simply that, I could let go.

“He was awake until a few minutes ago.” She replied.

I nodded.

"Well, don't let me stop you," I said, moving forward, only to stop. "Being inside isn't good for your health. You have gone through the pack area before, right?"
