Treasure played freely amongst other children. The happiness in his eyes made me smile from the window I watched him in.

He had taken to them very well, free to reveal his claws at any time, compared to before.

After what felt like minutes of watching, I settled back down onto the couch, filled with stacked books I was hoing to remove for the day.

I settled into the dark couch where even before I left, it gave comfort. Now I needed that more than ever.

It felt like before, yet everything was so different. Now Sierra came occasionally, no longer a resident of the pack yet still belonging to it. She had all the grace of a Luna. It was something I had known for a long time, yet pleased to see nonetheless - nevermind that I still beat her whenever it came to sparring.

The biggest difference, however, was me.

I had once come here as a guest, hiding myself away from the pack and not wanting to get attached. Now I was here as Leo's mate and the first and new Luna of the rogue pack.
