[Avira]I walked out on Declan without answering his question, and I did not return to the room until it was late in the night, when I was sure he had left. [Avira]As much as I hated Declan, the thought that he had just saved me from getting scarred on my face was stuck in my head, and I was sure it wouldn't leave anytime soon.I was still coughing, Nanisca's hold on my neck had been nothing but aggressive as if she planned on strangling me should her plan to disfigure my face fail.
