Alicia's POV

I felt uneasy and turned around, only to spot Alpha Alex emerging from the darkness and approaching me. I remained still, unable to move.

"Alicia, tell me, where did you stay last night?" Alpha Alex asked once more, this time standing closer to me.

"I...I just went outside to get some fresh air," I stammered, nearly stumbling as I stepped back carefully from him.

"Is there something you're hiding, Alicia?" Alpha Alex moved closer, holding my hand firmly.

"You're...you're hurting me, Alex," I responded, trying to free myself from his grip, which was causing me discomfort.

"Then you shouldn't have left me alone here," he retorted, making me tremble in fear as he headed for the door and left my room.

I sighed deeply, my heart pounding against my chest.
