Beth on the other hand was extremely uncomfortable, she acted bold and smart, but with him behind her back, she couldn't think straight. She still had a crush on him, despite how he had hurt her. But she knew there was no way, she was going to have anything to do with him. He was the boy who had rejected her. And having been she hadn't moved out to change, nothing would have changed. She would have been the fat, ugly, unloved girl who no one wanted. The girl who got rejected by him. She knew all of these, that was why she chose to leave.
She stared up at the sky, and saw that the cloud was getting dark and gloomy. Something which was a sign that it was going to rain again. And that meant he was going to be fast with whatever he had to say, so he could get back into the house to be with his parents and siblings.
