21. DISPLAY OF AFFECTION.

Charlotte shifted slightly on the bed because of the uncomfortable position that she had put herself in but that was enough to wake her up. She opened her eyes, groggy and confused, as the morning sunlight streamed in through the window. It was then she noticed that she wasn't the only person in the room.

Kyle was standing close to the window shirtless. The morning breeze blew his soft hair, making her feel incredible to have seen this scene. Remembering what happened last night between them, she became slightly worried that he could have changed his mind.

So she called out for him, "Kyle."

The latter who seemed to have been in thoughts jolted back, he blinked and immediately turned around to look at her. Her hair was rough - as rough as a bird's nest and her face was red too. The gown she was wearing was entirely exposed in the open as the gown's strap had fallen to the arm exposing half of her breasts.
