Amy

Amy

As the sun filtered through the towering trees, the campsite came to life with a sense of quiet anticipation. A gentle mist rose from the nearby lake, creating an ethereal veil that softened the edges of the camp. The aroma of roasted pork through the crisp morning air, mingled with the earthy scent of the forest. Tents, like sentinels of adventure, stood in neat rows, their nylon sides shimmering with dewdrops. Birds, perched on branches above, sang a harmonious chorus, welcoming the new day with cheerful melodies.

In the heart of the camp, a crackling campfire sent tendrils of smoke spiraling towards the heavens, casting a warm, dancing light upon the faces of friends and fellow campers gathered around. Laughter and quiet conversations filled the air as the campers sipped from mugs, their faces illuminated by the fire's gentle embrace.

In this tranquil and communal moment, the campers felt a deep connection with nature and with each other, as if the morning had woven a tapestry of serenity and togetherness. The promise of another day in the wild beckoned.

Taylor stared at her, scanning through her outfit looking at her from her head down to her feet, Amy was putting on cargo pants with a pink crop top that exposed her hot cleavage paired with black boots in no time Amy noticed that she was looking at her and brought out her hand to shake Taylor as she introduced herself " Hi I'm Amy " but Taylor couldn't shake her as she tried to hide the paper but not so fast, Amy's attention was now on the paper. "Not so fast mind if I see that, " Amy said. Taylor did not hesitate to give her the paper and she read it to herself and was shocked after reading the paper. Then she decides they keep it to themselves while they investigate. Afterward, Taylor introduced herself to Amy and then Amy excitedly hugged her. It was as if Amy had watched Taylor the whole time she had been in Camp as she was so excited to finally meet her.

They spent some time together getting to know each other, Amy was the only child of her parents. She lost her dad in a military war and lost her mum to cancer. Amy lost her parents at the age of 7. She started learning martial arts at the age of eight to protect herself. She spends most of her years with her uncle and Aunt who loved her so dearly, Amy grew up to love hunting she always goes hunting.

Taylor felt bad that Amy lost her parents at such a young age. "I'm sorry you lost your parents," she said. Amy responded to her thank you and there was a moment of silence for quite some time.

Amy stood up and walked around the room then she said to Amy in regards to the paper she had seen she suggested that they start investigating as soon as possible. "I think we should start with Conrad, I feel like he has seen a lot out there in the woods". Taylor said. Amy replied "Okay" Taylor went ahead to tell Amy about all that happened to Conrad and how he injured his leg. Amy knew that there was something off about the camp but she kept that to herself they planned how they were going to go about it, and Taylor was the one who was going to do the questioning since she was close to Conrad.

Fortunately for their plan Mr. Brown approaches Taylor and tells her that Conrad needs her attention "What are you doing I think you should go look out for Conrad he needs your attention" he said, In the tent, he noticed that Amy was there but he never knew she was the girl that saved Taylor and Jack the other day when the Beast attacked but he looked at her with a suspicious face before he left. Taylor quickly ran to Conrad. She saw him lying down but he didn't look very much okay. He felt sad because of his leg. He couldn't do anything without assistance and he wasn't comfortable with that. "Have you had anything to eat?" she said, he turned around and saw that it was her asking. "No, I don't even have an appetite to eat. Everything feels hard and frustrating. I can't go about my daily activities. I can't help, I can't contribute to the camp. I don't know what is going on out there. I just feel caged"

"You don't have to feel that way. It's not your fault that you hurt your leg at times in life. Some things happen to us and we need help. I don't want you to feel that way. I'm here to always assist in ways that I can, I don't want you feeling that way or thinking that way. I'm going to go out and get you some food to eat then apply the ointment and whatever you want me to do you can always call me. I'll be here whenever. She goes out of the tent to get him some food and serve him, after he eats she applies the ointment. Conrad felt relieved and he appreciated her kindness, she was about to leave when she remembered the plan.

Outside As the sun's fiery orb dips below the horizon, the camp gradually falls into the embrace of night. The crackling campfire, the heart of the site, casts its warm, flickering light, creating a circle of comfort amid the encroaching darkness. It plays a captivating dance with the shadows.

The air grows cooler, carrying with it the earthy scent of the surroundings. Stars emerge one by one, like ancient beacons, painting the sky with their soft, distant light. The sounds of the day are replaced by a nocturnal chorus – the chirping of crickets, the hoot of an owl, and the distant murmur of a nearby lake.

Taylor and Conrad went outside to feel the cool breeze that was blowing, the night felt long. They chatted for some time and he got comfortable then Taylor felt it was the perfect time to ask him, She began asking him

"What did you see in the woods? How did you get yourself trapped? I just want to know how it was for you out there, did you see something strange? Did you hear anything, can you tell me". she said as she looked at him straight in his eyes. He confided in her, "In the woods I, I "he stammered, gazing at her, noticing how beautiful her eyes were, her full lips, and her fine Jawline, then he came back to his senses as she tapped him and said

"I'm listening"

"I saw Mr. Brown in the woods there was blood all over his hands". He said

As he was explaining to her, Mr Brown was passing by and noticed that they were talking. He quickly hid and started eavesdropping.

" It was like he was carrying something but I couldn't see clearly as my leg was trapped and I was in pain," he said, while Mr.Brown was still eavesdropping, Amy was looking for Taylor as she hadn't seen her since the morning hours, she caught him and tapped him he was taken unaware, he turned and stuttered, he couldn't think of the right words to say. She let him be and he walked away, she approached Taylor and Conrad.

Conrad stares at her and he knows he hasn't seen this face in camp, she speaks to him while Taylor smiles.

"I'm Amy and I arrived at camp today"

"I'm Conrad, it's my pleasure to meet you".

They exchange greetings.

Taylor tells Conrad about the written note and that Amy knows about it too, so he agrees to join them and help them out while they are still talking, Mr. Brown comes back again to continue eavesdropping, and unfortunately for him, they end their conversation, and head to their various tents, he leaves hastily to not be seen by them. He was weary and anger grew in him all he could think was how to eliminate Conrad from sharing what he saw in the woods with more people. He walks around in his tent, with one of his hands on his waist and one on his jaw, he raises his head, he gazes at the roof of the tent, he is so bothered.

"I have to do all it takes to kill Conrad, he might tell more people and it will be over for me if my master finds out," he said. He searched his bag and brought out a dagger, putting it in the pocket of his trousers

He stepped out and went inside Conrad's tent, Conrad was already sleeping, and he looked around to be sure no one was there, he brought out the dagger as he was about to stab him, Amy came in,

He quickly adjusted his hands hiding the dagger, Amy looked at him curiously, she stared at him, and he furiously walked out. A confused Amy saw that Conrad was asleep, she wondered what the man was doing in the tent, and she decided to sleep in the tent.
