I nodded, feeling a bit guilty for my earlier outburst at her. "I'm sorry I got so aggressive with you," I said, wiping my forehead with the back of my hand. "I'm just so tired of them acting like that. There are bigger things in life than their pathetic alpha feelings."

Missy laughed, which caught me off guard. "Oh honey, I've been pregnant with what I suspect are six alphas. You think Kael and Gerald are bad? Try having them growing inside you."
