“How… are you?” Reiner asked as he stared at Shane. His eyes can’t leave the other’s body. It has only been two months since he last saw Shane, but he felt like it has been years that has passed.
Shane paused. “… I’m fine.” He answered. “And you?” he asked.
Reiner gulped, then took a deep breath. “… also… fine.” He answered and clenched his fists on his side. He is not really fine. How can he be fine? He realized his feelings towards his best friend all too late… and he has lost him.
