26: Meeting the Landers

My mom did as she promised and immediately sent the details to me the very next morning. I know it was a rushed decision, but that was the only way I can think of. Another week passed and it was the day of the engagement meeting and me and my sister will be attending it. 

The meeting was set for lunch so, I spend the whole morning with Zab as we fixed each other's hair and make-up and put on the outfits that we agreed on wearing. And before we know it, we were now, in front of the gate of our family home, where it will be held. The gates slowly opened and I can't help but feel a bit jittery and nervous because of what was about to happen.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Zoe?" She asked me for the hundredth time since I told her my plan the next morning after my late-night call with our mom.

"I'm sure." I said to her and drove into our estate.
