The three of them looked confused as they entered, but when they saw both me and Gavin inside with the higher-ups, they avoided our gaze and followed Ms. White slowly to the remaining empty chairs.
"I should have known." I heard Gavin whisper beside me.
"Why are they here?" I asked him.
"I have an idea, but I'm not yet sure. Let's just wait." He whispered back, so I just dropped the topic.
"Now that we are all here, let's start." Ms. De Lara said as soon as the two sat down.
"Do all of you know why you have been called here today?" both me and Gavin nodded but the two just remain silent.
"Okay, first things first. Ms. Aragon, on behalf of the company, we are very sorry for the inconvenience that this matter has given you over the past week and we are really happy to have you back."Ms. Gomez said as she started the meeting.
