30: Sweet Serenade

The song started and I couldn't believe his choice of song. It was a love song, more appropriately, a confession song. I knew this because it was the same song I sang for my first crush, Caleb when we were in high school. It's been a while since I heard this song. Gosh, the nostalgia.

Our attention was then all focused on Gavin as we waited for the first verse to start. And when it did, my jaw almost hit the floor. And I wasn't the only one, I looked around and saw that everybody, except Gabby, was in awe as Gavin continued singing.

His deep voice was so smooth that he can pull off the song so well, even the high notes. He sang with so much emotion that I can't help but be carried away by his singing. It makes me think that he means every word and that he's really confessing his feelings to someone, right at that moment.

I couldn't take my eyes off of him and when he reached the bridge of the song, my eyes caught his. He held my gaze as he continued singing,
