“Where is the design, Tinsely?” growled Alpha David as he towered dominantly on his mate.

Tinsley shrunk backward, her cores vibrating in fear as she shakily answered him, “I... I... I'm not done with it yet.”

“What!” Alpha David thundered, causing Tinsely to jerk as he gave her a backhand slap as expected.

“Jesus Christ!” Tinsley cried out, her eyes blinded, her cheeks stinging in pain as she fell on the floor.

“You useless idiot! After I fed you, clothe you, gave you everything you asked for and this is how you repay my sweat, huh?!” He angrily shouted.

“I'm s-sorry,” Tinsley shuttered tearfully, clasping her right cheek as she sobbed.

*You are hurting her, David!* His wolf, Rolf growled at him to stop hitting his mate.

*Stay out of this, Rolf!* David shunned him.

*Listen to me, you witty human!* Rolf yelled, he was furious at David for hurting his mate.

*Whatever!* David scoffed and shut him out of his head.

His chest was rising and falling heavily, glaring at his mate hatefully as he felt the instinct of killing her right there and now.

Tinsely shakily said, “I'm almost done w-with the d-design but it needed s-some finishing touches.”

Alpha David wasn't alleviated but instead, he rotated around, snatched the million dollars flower vase, and furiously smash at the wall.

Tinsely shook at the disorderly sound of the broken flower vase and her heart intensified, she watched in horror as Alpha David loomed on her once more.

“The company’s money is getting drained because we haven't been able to create a new design, Tinsely. If this should continue, you know how bad it's gonna be for the both of us!” He gruffly elucidated.

Tinsely shakily nods her head once, twice, countless times. She was frantic right now, not knowing what to do at the moment.

Her mate's company, ELITE EDIT deals with fashion designs, and it has been the best company ever since she started designing for the organization.

Her rare designs were recognized nationwide as the fairest, the first top on the chart and they made pretty earnings locally and internationally.

This made her mate, Alpha David raise his face as high as heaven, trespassing every boundary without looking back, he excelled and it was her all efforts.

However, her mate, has never, never, never for once thanked or appreciated her for her struggles.

To make it worse, he did not let the people know that she (his mate) was the beautiful hand behind those exquisite structures.

Rather, he let his mistress, Amelia take all the praises and she (Amelia) was regarded as a goddess of fashion designs in the eyes of the masses.

But Tinsely never protested, she simply did everything with her power just to make her mate happy and satisfied even when he disliked her.

However, last two weeks ago, she was badly ill and wasn't able to make new designs, which was gonna be ruinous for the company, she had thought.

“I am very sick, David!” She had cried bitterly on the bed. “Please take me to the hospital now.” She had begged him.

“Leave me alone, woman!” Alpha David rolled his eyeballs at her, “You can take care of yourself or rather go dig your own grave!” He hissed, walking out on her.

He was harsh and indifferent toward her, he never cared about her health and she felt her wolf whine achingly at his rejection.

Tinsely complained severely to her mate every time her sickness worsened, but he prefers to pay deaf ears to her and spent most of his time with Amelia.

Then recently, she noticed her mate, Alpha David was becoming extremely aggressive and riled towards her and everything.

What was wrong?

Later on, she found out that his recent belligerent behavior was set on fire all because of the sudden appearance of Alpha Lorenzo Rochester, the fashion god himself!

Throughout the various social media pages and internet sites, she visited online as she scrolled on her phone, it was evident that the public has completely forgotten all about ELITE EDIT fashion designs.

The people have now undertaken into getting themselves keen on Alpha Lorenzo’s fascinating and magnetic fashion design.

He has billions of followers on the internet, and his net worth is insuperable. The thousands of likes and comments from the public are overwhelming, they are screaming and chanting his name.

“This is more disastrous than I thought!” Tinsley had worried for her mate.

And right now, her mate is venting all his frustration and deficiencies on her. But to be honest, all this new development wasn't her fault.

If only her mate had been attentive to her and had taken her to the hospital, she’d have already prepared herself for a counterattack upon Alpha Lorenzo’s return.

Not only was he (Alpha Lorenzo) the most powerful alpha in the supernatural world, but he was also famous in the human world.

All this is enough to make her mate ticked off.

Alpha David was maddened, swiftly looming closer to Tinsley, and he growled threateningly.

“Listen to me!” He yelled and she flinched intensely nodding frantically at him, “If I don't get that fucking design on my table first thing tomorrow morning at the office, I'm gonna kill you!”

Tensely’s body ran cold as she carefully watched him move away from her, her lips quivering as another tear carelessly spilled from her eyes.

She knew her mate wasn't joking, David doesn't throw up a joke when he is infuriated which only means right now that he was stating facts to her.

Surely this man will be the end of her, he will definitely kill her if not now but someday.

Watching her mate furiously break down the bedroom door before storming out of the room, she panicked with an unsettled mind and stood to her feet.

Running to the left side of her bed, she quickly pulled out her sketchpad from the pillow, slumped on the bed, and precipitously started to work on the design she has been sketching for a few weeks now.

Gone are those days when drawing and designing was her favorite thing to do, she'd draw so flawlessly and effortlessly. But now, its outgrowth has become tragic and it was all because of her mate.

He was supposed to be her inspiration, motivation, and push, and not the other way around.

Throughout the day, and all night long, Tinsely was eye-opened on her sketchpad, working tirelessly as she struggled to overlook the erratic moans and groans of obvious pleasure that were spreading out from her mate's bedroom.

He brought another woman that is not her, and the woman’s name is Amelia, his mistress.

He was shamelessly making out with her, and this made her heart prick in sadness.

Tinsley at this moment wished her wolf, Emma, was here to comfort her. However, she lost contact with her wolf after an incident that occurred five years ago.

Meanwhile, Lucinda, which was the only family she has been living with her best friend, Rosalie.

Lucinda cut her (Tinsely) off as sister the very instant she chooses to reside with David as her mate, she detested David and his monstrosity.

Tinsley didn't relent as she tried to make Lucinda understand the wolf bond she had with him, but Lucinda wasn't ready to listen because she was blind by the abhorrence, she had for David.

Lucinda was right, after all, David is a monster.

Perhaps, one day, she will be able to muster all the courage she has to slap a divorce paper to David’s face and make him reject her.
