Chapter One : Coquettishness Started

Target spotted!

A triumphant smile appeared on Kate's lips when she saw what she had been searching for since she entered the place. The loud music was blaring inside the city's most exclusive nightclub, along with the giggles of women in various parts of the venue. Pairs were dancing naughtily and sexily to the rhythm of the loud music while drowning themselves in liquor. Others were rubbing their bodies against each other but she remained in the corner, leaning on her seat with a glass of tequila in her left hand.

Her bright and seductive eyes were fixed on the man who was gloomy and was like carrying the world. There were a lot of men who tried to get her attention but none of them succeeded except for the man at the table next to her.

He seemed to be not used to drinking alone in that kind of setting. However, his look could not be compared to the other men drinking inside that club. He looked rugged. She nonchalantly blinked when the man she was ogling over suddenly looked at her.

"Perfect!" Kate could not suppress the word. His deep brown eyes were visibly cold. His eyebrows were furrowed. His square jaw and aristocratic nose were breathtaking.

With that thought, she did not waste her time and confidently walked toward his table while still staring at his sinful eyes.

Kate should feel offended when the man spoke, but his husky voice made her even more excited and thrilled. She smiled mischievously without breaking eye contact with him. Kate felt a twinge in her stomach at what she heard. She has been challenged by his captivating and titillating words. That's why when he stood up, she took the initiative to follow him as he went toward the exclusive room direction, located at the back of the nightclub.

She was startled when he stopped in front of one room. He turned to her, grabbed her wrist, and dragged her into the room. She was pushed into the wall before she could even react. Her hands were on top of her head, tightly gripped by his left hand.

The man looked at her like memorizing her face, not missing a single inch.

Their position was so intimate that Kate sucked her breath as she felt a fire erupt in her body because of it. She held her breath as she boldly met his gaze. She could feel his heavy breathing.
