Chapter Twelve : Sudden Outburst

"Did that mother ever consider how frightening it was for a child to be left alone? Did she ever take into account how frightening it was to live in a place that you have never been into?"

Kate's unexpected outburst stunned Yael. Her words caused him to feel pain.

"Did she ever think about how her child felt after being abandoned, especially at such a young age?" Kate had to control her breathing because she felt suffocated. "It was like being alone in a street, where there's a lot of bends to turn to! But because of too many bends to choose from, it was so hard to pick! Of course! How hard would it be for them to choose from something they have never reached before? How difficult would it be for a child to choose something that she had never felt? It was like taking a leap without faith because there would never be an assurance if they would be saved!"

Kate felt like her heart was being squeezed by strong hands. She immediately remembered her days in the orphanage. Like the chick
