Chapter 18
The next day, at breakfast, Stella met the other ladies of the Castigado. There are four more ladies, two younger than her and two were older. Jennie, Marie, Annie and Trixie. Marie and Stella were almost the same age but Marie was older in months.
The list goes with Verna being the oldest, Jennie, Jason, Charles, Marie, Annie, Jenkins and Trixie being twins and are the youngest grandchildren. There are so many of them that Stella would confuse them in her head.
Then after breakfast, she was invited by them to sit and have tea near the garden. She didn’t want to but the girls had dragged her already.
“Has anyone done their fitting already? If not we ladies should go!” Marie in her sweet yet sassy voice told everyone.
“The past days were hectic I could not find time for it!” There goes what Stella thinks is Annie. “I’m in!”
