Chapter 31.2

In the busy streets of Akane, Stella walks with Charles on the sidewalk. They were just holding hands and all when Stella felt her phone ringing. With her free hand, she reached for her phone and when she saw doctor Akira she stopped, preventing him from taking another step too.

"Something wrong?" he asked.

"No, but I'll have to answer the phone for a bit," she replied. 

"Who's calling?" 

Stella pretended not to hear Charles and instead let go of him, answering her phone as she moves away. It made him grind his jaw, looking all pissed at the one who ruined their moment.

"Hello?" Stella answered her phone.

"Oh, dear! My apologies for not answering the phone earlier. I was in a meeting." 

"It's fine, doctor Akira. It was my fault for not erm asking first. It was a wrong timing."

Stella could hear the noise on the other line and it makes her wonder if it was from her or the phone. She's quite certain that doctor Aki
