Anastasia with Adam's arms around her waist both exited from the front door with Carla and Garry seeing them off to their car. “Take good care of her.” Adam turned around to look Garry in the eyes. Carla wanted to speak but Garry was quick to nod and extend a hand towards Adam. “I'll protect her no matter what Adam so don't worry. Carla is in great hands.” Adam stared at his stretched hand and one look at Anastasia made him groan before pulling his hand forward to extend a handshake with Garry.

Adam walked over to hug his mother once again and Anastasia couldn't help but recall Carla's illness. Adam loved his mother so much and didn't need to suffer the loss of his mother right now. She knew all that Adam dreamt of and what he wanted to give to his mother when he made it big in the world.

She decided to give Doctor Logan a call once she was free. There had to be a solution to Carla's pancreatic disease as technology was advancing each day and the medical sector was no slouch either in

    Ana stepped out through the door with Jack tailing right behind her. She turned around and smiled at Jack who couldn't stop staring madly at her. He leaned on the doorframe with both his hands in his sweatpants pockets and simply stared at her. “I'll...go now.” Ana cut off the silence before she was about to walk towards the elevator when Jack called out to her. “You never responded to my proposal, Anastasia.” Ana didn't turn around to look at him again.     Ana was very surprised when she heard what Jack had just asked her. She was a little stiff in her position and didn't respond and only continued to stare at the beautiful aluminum wall in front of her. Jack felt her body react stiffly against him and only kissed her shoulder once more and hugged her close. “You don't have to answer that, and I guess I was out of line for putting you in such a position with that question....” Ana now turned to face him and shook her head. “No, I mean....what you asked was just...shocking to me, you know. We...we don't really know each other that well....” Jack smiled and rubbed his thumb on her mouth. “On the contrary, I feel like I've known you for all my life, Anastasia.” His words made Ana to plup out a smile before she stared at his smooth chest. Her eyes caught on that deep scar or was it more like a wound. It looked like burns and she then looked up to Jack who's eyes were still on her like she was the most mesmerizing thing he had ever looked

    Ana inhaled as she felt herself heating up the moment Jack had started to kiss her. She got her hands around his neck and melted in his embrace. This feeling, this warmth, Ana knew she loved this man, regardless of who he was. Jack pulled away softly, and couldn't help but gaze into her green eyes and run his finger down on her cheek. “I was worried, Anastasia. You suddenly disappeared from the hospital yesterday, and you didn't even respond to my calls or texts.” Ana looked away for a moment. “Your wife was there, remember?” Jack shook his head, with his one hand still wrapped around her waist. “You know I don't care about my wife, Anastasia.” He inched closer and Ana gulped feeling his warm breath on her lips. “She was only there just for the sake of it. She didn't even stay long enough.” Ana looked at him, thinking he was lying to her. “That wasn't the impression she gave me outside your room. She sounded like she was very worried about you.” “Trust me, she didn't stay long.

    Jack looked at Anton closely, with narrowed eyes. Anton, who had a look of shock on his face was quick to recover as he lowered himself down to pick up his phone. “Thank goodness, it's not broken....” A sigh left his lips before he turned to Jack who was still staring at him, with an obvious questioning look. “Care to explain what was that about?” Jack asked and Anton shook his head along with the shrugging of his shoulders. “Sorry about that but what you just asked me really caught me off guard.     Flashback....... Jack opened his eyes briefly, the view before him was blurry, but he could hear the sounds of birds chirping, and distant people's murmurs. He then felt a pat on his right shoulder, and slowly his vision grew steady. He realized he was seated in a car, his hands were on the steering wheel and everywhere seemed like a highway. That hand rubbed his shoulders and he turned to his right. Only to stare right back at himself seated in the passengers seat. End of Flashback..... Jack's eyes fluttered open. His entire vision was distorted and the white light on the ceiling almost blinded him before he closed his eyes once again. He slowly opened them and saw a tall figurine beside him. It was the doctor. His vision cleared but his head seemed like it was being stabbed by a thousand needles. He groaned and grabbed his head that he now felt was bandaged all around. “Doctor! Help me, it hurts! Ahh!...” Jack couldn't pick out the words of what the doctor had said as his

    Ana's eyes widened a fraction as his soft lips were smooching against hers, his body pressed more against hers, almost crushing her against the elevator wall. It took a whole minute for Ana to process it all before slowly melting. Her hands which held Jack's broad shoulders in a firm grip now moved across them to wrap around his neck. Her eyes closed and in the moment wanted to forget everything. No obstacles, no barriers and no other person to come in between her and the man kissing the hell out of her. She moaned in his mouth, got the knee of her right leg up a bit and Jack moved his hand to roam on her thigh. Ana moved her hands up from his neck to feel his silky hair. Unlike Adam who was always a soft and smooth kisser, Jack was the opposite, he kissed her like a hungry praved animal who had been starving for many days.
