Chapter 17 Sneaking Into The Lion's Den.

The sun had already set, Amelie sat in a taxi with her children driving towards the direction of her hospital after having picked the twins up from their school.

Her mind had been filled with thoughts of her children ever since she had met up with Chloe. At first she tried to convince herself that it just might be another trick being played by Chloe, but after pondering on the topic for a day and a half, Amelie had decided to take the children to do an examination.

After all, there was nothing wrong with being careful.

Arriving at the hospital, Amelie stepped out of the cab with her children and paid before walking into the hospital. She had set up an appointment before time and was also a worker there, so she simply walked past the receptionist and towards the examination room.

The doctor was already there, standing with his back towards her and facing the computer screen.

Amelie knocked twice on the door and opened.

"Mr. Bordeaux," She greeted.

"Ah, Ms. Arnuad, you're finally here."
