Chapter 14

Willow’s POV

Both men turned and looked at me, both with questioning eyes. My next words felt like they came out as a studder when I finally said, “I can’t do this.” Panic filled me and I began to breathe heavily. I needed to get out of this room and make a run for it, but they were blocking my only exit.

Alpha Chance stepped in my direction with his hands out towards me and said, “Willow, you need to calm down.” I stepped back not wanting him to touch me because I knew if he did the mate bond would take over.

Finally, I found my voice enough to say, “Stop.” As I put my hand up towards him.

Beta Shawn now stepped into the room, and I heard his voice in my head say, “Willow, just breathe.” I looked towards him and that’s when tears started to fall from my eyes as I tried to take in air to calm myself.
