“Just remember we live in a world where we have enemies everywhere if we aren’t careful.” I told them.

“We will do better.” Kalen asserted.

“Now, how would you like to help me find a way to help Caleb?” I asked, just before biting into the apple I grabbed.

“Help him how?” Ryleigh asked.

She picked up both her and her brother’s cereal bowl, taking it to the sink to rinse off before placing it in the dishwasher. Watching the two of them together, made me wish that I had grown up with a sibling. I was close with my brothers, just not in the same way they were close with each other.
