Chapter 59

Rayne’s POV

All the anger I had built up inside of me I let fuel the flame that was already burning deep within me. The next thing I knew I was engulfed in flames and it felt amazing. I realized at that moment not only did Reese evolve from me marking him, but I had also, and I could feel the power coursing through my veins.

Reese had been concerned about me when I let myself be consumed by the flame but he need not be, because it was the same power, I am sure that made him burn. I focused not on one but all the targets that were set up and I shot the energy out through the tip of my fingers like a bolt of lightning from each and as each target incinerated the flame with in me dissipated.

“Baby that was smoking.” Reese says to me in our link and I assure him that I like this game and it was good therapy for me not to kill anyone. Reese began to laugh and Sal stepped forward declaring us the winners. I ran to Reese and jumped into his arms and kissed him hard.
