Thirty two
Penn found Stanley and Rima in the Orchard that was behind the compound. Stanley turned to see who was approaching and when he saw it was Penn his eyes narrowed.
“I am sorry?” Penn started uncertainly, unsure of how she would be received, Dinos didn’t have his way with her then but Stanley was helpless in the hands of his captors for more than a day.
“You don’t get to throw that incident back in my face. Nobody has the right to, no one! Especially you.” Stanley Stated as Penn cringed and her eyes grew wet. The thought she has been trying to block out for six months slammed into her head with the force of a sledge hammer.
‘It was all my fault’
“I am sorry.” Penn's voice was full with remorse this time.
“What are you sorry about?” Stanley asked. “The fact that you just threw that incident back in my face or the fact that you are responsible for it.”
Penn stumbled back at Stanley’s word like he had physically punched him.
