Chapter Nineteen

“Change the music. You know I don’t like this.” Matthew called out, reaching for the car’s speaker to turn it down.

“And I like it, let’s hear it. If you can change the music because of Sarah, I think you should be able to hear new kinds too. Let’s listen to it.” She replied, trying to stifle the laugh threatening to coke out.

Matthew sighed tiredly and focused on driving. Humming something he couldn’t even say, he tried to drown the sound of the lady blaring from his car, and it annoyed him that her voice was so tiny that he couldn’t even do it.

They soon arrived at Sarah’s house, and she was already outside, standing with a bag in her hand. Elena noticed how her face bloomed with a smile as she approached the car, making her scrunch her face and diverting her eyes away from her.

“Hi, Elena,” Sarah greeted but was not replied.

She opened the car's back door and helped herself into it, her eyes meeting with Matthew, who gave her a smile.

“Good morning.” She mouthed to him before relax
