I love you

It was next noon and I had already been to my university and had had couple lectures behind me that I had to intend in person. Because normally, I was taught via online lessons or had to work out the material myself.

However, there were exceptions and my father allowed me to go there with Casey so as not to miss this special and very important lecture. 

Lucky me was sitting in my favorite Café with Jaehyun. I always smiled around him but today my smile was extra big for him.

We hadn't met in way too long and now were happier as ever to see each other. 

He held his my hands in his on the table.

We sat across from each other and had just eaten some cinnamon rolls and donuts with coffee.

We talked about the last week, that we hadn't seen each other and now he just sat there and smiled into my eyes. 

"I love you, you know?" He said in a proud and honest tone. 

My eyes widened in surprise at his sweet words. 

He noticed and added something. "I mean as a friend…" He laughed at himself, a little shy now. 

I found it cute and quickly replied.

"I know. I love you much more Jeah!"

I didn't know, my smile was able to get even bigger. 

I could have screamed as I saw his dimples that showed in his grin, caused by my reply. 

"How was school today, Rose?" 

Rose was my middle name and was the same one my mother had.

"I don't go to school anymore Jeah! I'm at a University." I reminded him, even though I knew he just wanted to tease me. 

"I know Ve." He showed his amazing eye-smile again.

Enzo wasn't here at the moment, because he had to do other business that my dad payed him for. Only Charles was watching us a few tables behind us. 

To be honest, I didn't want Enzo here. He would be angry if he would see how close Jaehyun and I were.

Although we were just friends, we almost kissed twice already. 

I just couldn't ignor his charm and looks sometimes. 

But we had been interrupted when he was about to make his move. 

Actually it was better like this. We shouldn't be more than friends. 

He told me several times that he was so happy to have me, but I ignored this sign or better; his confession. 

Because we had such a lovely relationship and I really didn't want to ruin this. 

And now I was with Enzo. 

He was the one that gave me the butterflies, which I missed my whole life.

No one ever made me feel this many emotions at the same time, like he did last night. 

But the thing was, we hadn't even had close contact yesterday. 

He left he got the answer he wanted from me.

Me and Jeah decided to go to his apartment, so we could watch movies and cuddle. He was kinda like a boyfriend but as a best friend. 

And I loved it. I really wouldn't complain. I loved his cuddles, his warm hands that caressed my arms or my stomach, when I was on my period. 

Deep in me, I wanted Enzo to treat me like this. Not like I was his woman, that he owned and had to protect from every man  and their affection. 

But the things he made me feel yesterday were just too good not to give him a Chance.

Enzo picked me and Casey up at the Café after Jeahyun had already disappeared, so he wouldn't notice, I hung out with a guy friend. 

We were in front of my apartment door and I realised his tightened jaw line as he watched me intensely. 

"You wanna come in with me?" I smiled, a little nervous. 

I knew he couldn't resist or reject me. Just because I saw this adoration in his eyes again. 

He didn't say anything and just went in, following me to the kitchen. 

This one question burned on my tongue since he had left me yesterday night. 

"Why did you know my second name? Usually my father tells no one because of my mother." I looked him in his now dark orbs that watched me like I was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. 

"I know you much longer than you know me, Rose. I'm so happy I could finally get to you." His voice was deep and raspy. 

I really liked his voice. It gave me chills.

"What do you mean?" I was confused by his weird answer. 

It didn't give me the information I wanted. 

He sighed. 

"I can't tell you more, I'm sorry, baby." Then he stepped towards me and hugged my small waist. 

"You are mine now, are you?" He asked hopefully. 

"What about your job? What if someone finds out?" 

"I don't care. I want you. I'm obsessed with you, Rose." I had to smile. 

Some maybe say it's weird when you know, that someone is obsessed with you, but not for me and not with him.

It gave me the feeling, that he really cared about me and wouldn't just replace me by any other woman.

"I didn't want to go yesterday, I'm sorry. I wish I could have done something to stay with you." He apologised sweetly and kissed my neck. 

"I would have loved to know what you would have done then." I whispered softly.

He chuckled. "I can't promise that I will be able to control myself from attacking you." He spoke deeply. 

"It's okay." I said and separated myself from him so I could finally eat something. 

"Vera, do you think I'm that stupid?" He suddenly asked with an angry undertone when I had turned around. 

"Huh? What do you mean?" I was surprised by his sudden change.

"Do you think, I don't know that you hung out with this asian guy? I saw with you yesterday as well." 

He was still looking quite tensed at the moment. His veins on his arms popped out and his hands were clenched into fists. 

It slightly scared me how possessive he was over me. I just stood still and waited for his next words. 

"Answer me, Vera! You took the chance when I wasn't with you and met this guy!" 

I slightly flinched at his loud voice and tried to calm him down. 

"He is just a good friend. He's one of my only friends, Enzo. Please don't expect me to adjust all of my needs for you." 

He snorted with sarcasm. 

"I don't expect you to. I just want you for myself!" He breathed out.

I stepped slowly towards him. 

"I promise he is just a friend, Okay? No one will steal me from you 'cause there's no one that makes me feel the way you do. But I will not stop meeting my best friend for you, Enzo." 

I explained with a quiet voice and looked at his face to find out what he was feeling in the moment. 

"I'm sorry. But I'm not joking when I say, I kill people that touch you." 

"Fine but not Jaehyun." I warned. 

I hoped he didn't took everything so serious. I wouldn't allow him to kill anyone.

He sighed and nodded

"But if I see him touching you inappropriate in any way, he will get to know your  bodyguard." 

"He won't, he just cares about me. And I'm comfortable with him." I reassured him calmly.
