Chapter 7

"What if I want to explore with you? Would you be willing?" I asked Ryker, a few nights after our conversation.

So far all was going good with him and although I didn't know him for long, every part of me felt that I could trust him... and the feeling I got every time even the slightest touch was made between us, it gave me feelings I had never experienced before.

"Of course, but I want you to make sure you want that and most importantly, are ready for that." he replies sitting next to me on the bed.

"I understand and I hope you understand when I say I'm sure I'm ready and want this." I reply, sucking in a sharp breath as his eyes widen.

"Autumn, you barely know me, I don't want you to rush this." he tells me.

"I know, Ryker, but I don't want to waste another minute doubting it. I want to experience it and I want to do it now and I want that to be what floods my dreams at night. Not these terrible nightmares." I explain, pleadingly, making him inhale deeply.
