Back at the Scott's house, in a dimly lit room, Jane, Evelyn's stepmother, hatched a sinister plan. Her eyes gleamed with greed and ambition as she meticulously mixed a colorless, odorless poison into her husband's favorite evening drink.

Jane's resentment towards Evelyn had festered over the years, fueled by an insatiable desire for power and control. She perceived Evelyn as a stumbling block in her quest to acquire the family fortune and ultimately inherit the company.

"My love, here's your medication," Jane said sweetly, her voice laced with a false tenderness as she handed the glass to Harold. He, trusting his wife implicitly, took the drink without a second thought and consumed it without hesitation.

As the weeks passed, the insidious effects of Jane's malevolent actions began to take a toll on Harold's health. Unbeknownst to him, every dose of the so-called medication administered by his wife concealed the slow, venomous progression of the colorless, odorless poison.
