"Mr. Sterling," Michael greeted him and sat down across him.

Adrian sipped his coffee. He smiled at him, "How was she? Is my wife doing well in the company?"

Michael nodded his head. "She's been a great help to the company. She's so good at designing. She really knows what she's capable of."

Adrian nodded with a smile on the corner of his lips, proud of what Evelyn achieved.

"But, Mr. Sterling, why don't you tell her the truth? That you're the owner of the Lincoln Designs? That you are Mr. Lincoln?" he asked, curiously.

Adrian paused for a moment, contemplating Michael's question. He took another sip of his coffee before responding, "I wanted to see how people would treat her without knowing about our connection. I needed to know if they would appreciate her for her skills and dedication, not because of her association with me."
