Ethan's POV

She still kept looking at me like I've suddenly grown two extra heads and had two horns with it.

“That didn't justify that, it's not like I'm dying." She said.

“It looked like that in case you care to know." I replied with an eyebrow raised.

I was about to drive in this huge rain for her and this is what I got in return? "I hope you're good now and you don't need a doctor anymore.”

She sighed and walked towards me, "Don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying you shouldn't do all these, just not at the detriment of your own health.”

"That's for me to be worried about and not you.” I replied in a clipped tone.

“Here we go again." She mumbled under her breath.

“I really appreciate you, but who would take care of me when you also get sick or anything happens to you too?” Her big black eyes stared right into mine.

I chuckled dryly, "Nothing's going to happen to me." I can't even remember the last time I fell sick, maybe when I was ten? Eleven?

“You're so proud." She said, laughing
