They Can't Be Trusted

This girl was unaware of Jim's presence in her room. She almost finished putting on her clothes.

"Miss Virginia," Jim called.

Virginia almost jumped up in surprise at Jim's voice. She hurriedly grabbed the quilt to cover her body. "Who allowed you to enter my room?"

"Mr Lucas asked me to always take care of you."

"You should have knocked on the door before entering this room." Virginia cursed while pointing towards the door.

Jim nodded. He immediately went out and slowly closed the bedroom.

Virginia can now breathe a sigh of relief, despite still having a bit of anger at not accepting Jim's behaviour which she considers to have brazenly entered her room without permission.

Jim smiled as he picked up a lighter and a cigarette that was always kept in his trouser pocket. He casually smoked a smoke, causing smoke that made the smell uncomfortable for Virginia, who was in her room. Jim was taken aback when Virginia suddenly opened the door.

"What's the matter?" Jim asked.

"Can you not smoke here?"

Jim didn't answer immediately but noticed Virginia, who had changed into a knee-length dress.

"What are you looking at? Get out of here immediately."

Jim immediately put out the flames of his cigarettes. He dropped the cigarette and then stepped on it. "Sorry, I won't repeat it."

An annoyed Virginia now closed her bedroom door again. She was disgusted by the people in the house's treatment—especially John and his lover.

"I don't easily believe his words." This girl thought for a while, walking back and forth. "I will find out the truth before I sign the consent letter."

Lucas was surprised when Jim suddenly walked into his room. He was just about to spend the night in bed with Janeta.

"Why are you nodding?" Lucas asked. His face looked unhappy.

Jim glanced at Janeta. "I'm confused. She kept throwing up, but I couldn't do much to help her."

Lucas sighed in annoyance. Just because Virginia complained of being unwell, he had to skip his fun with Janeta. "Just leave her alone."

"I'm afraid she will have a bad thing."

Janeta smiled as she came to Lucas. "I don't want anything bad to happen to her. However, Virginia's health condition will affect our baby. Go and be a good father for our baby."

Lucas loved Janeta so much that when Janeta persuaded him, he never argued. This man took the clothes on the bed and then came to Virginia.

Janeta approached Jim with a sweet smile. "You must be jealous, so I planned for Lucas tonight to stay away from me."

Jim locked the door after that. He hugged Janeta. "I'm not willing if he touches you."

"He didn't have time to do that tonight so we could have fun in this room. On our bed." Janeta invited Jim to lie with her in Lucas' bed. We spent tonight full of passion.

Lucas knocked on the door of Virginia's room. "Are you asleep?"

Virginia opened the door. Her face looked pale. "I kicked the man out because he didn't make me comfortable."

"If it weren't for my lover's request, I wouldn't want to come here." Lucas stepped into Virginia's bedroom. "Do you need anything? I will grant all your wishes."

"I want to go to the hospital." Virginia walked towards the window. "Can you take me there?"

"I'll call the doctor over."

This girl is uneasy because her plan to discover the truth about her pregnancy will fail. She was looking for a way to convince the man.

"I'll call our doctor, so you don't have to come to the hospital," Juan said, taking his phone out of his shirt pocket.

"He may have conspired with that doctor to tell a lie. I must not let him trick me any further," she said quietly to keep Lucas from hearing her.

Lucas was looking for his trusted doctor's contact number.

"I want to eat something. Can you bring me the food I want? Tonight." This girl suddenly said so that John would not so contact the doctor.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Can you bring me a bowl of soup?"

"The servant in this house can cook that soup. Wait."

"No."

Lucas frowned. Feeling astonished. "Why?"

"I want you to bring me the soup from Maria's orphanage."

"You want me to take a bowl of soup from that distant place?" Lucas was stunned.

"Yes."

"I won't obey your wishes."

"I won't eat even if you force it, and I also don't want to sign our treaty contract."

"I've given you my generosity, but you're acting as you can manage me."

This girl turned around. He would instead not return the man's sharp gaze. "I'm not going to eat and also don't want anyone to come into this room even though the doctor thought."

Lucas tried to contain his anger. He sighed deeply and then slowly exhaled. "Alright. Could you give me the address of Mary's orphanage?

Virginia took a paper and a pen from inside the drawer. She wrote down the address of Maria's orphanage. "I just want you to come and get it yourself. Remember that I only want the soup cooked by Mother Elisha."

"Why should I be the one there?" Lucas was even more annoyed. He felt that the girl was deliberately playing tricks on him.

Virginia did not answer Lucas' question, so the man had no other choice but to comply with Virginia's request.

Lucas walked up to his confidant. "Where's Jim?"

Alex shook his head at not seeing Jim since two hours ago.

"Take care of that girl because I'm afraid she will run away from this house."

"Okay, Boss."

After Lucas gave the order, he immediately went to head to Maria's orphanage in his red car while Virginia quietly exited her bedroom. She sneaked around, ensuring no one would catch her trying to get out of the house.

This girl passed through their surveillance, but she didn't know that she had now been alerted by surveillance cameras in the house.
