*** A Few Months Later ***

I rolled over and opened my eyes, I checked the clock. School starts in 20 minutes, but meh, I didn’t care. Being late another day, maybe they will give me the boot. I wanted to drop out, or at the very least change schools, but dad wouldn’t let me. In his words, I'd made my bed, I needed to lie in it and if that meant having the whole school talk about me behind my back then so be it.
