Chapter Sixty Nine 

Dad got me to the hospital in record time and mum was already there waiting for us. She worked close by, but even so, that was pretty impressive. They took me into an examination room to check me over and apparently, I was already pretty far along with the labour. I was 7 cm dilated, which meant it was nearly time. 

I wasn’t sure if I was even ready for this. 

Mum was going to be there with me in the delivery room, Dad was going to wait outside. I don’t think he was ready for this either. As they wheeled me past time, heading up to the delivery suite, I could tell by the look on his face, this was a changing point. 

Things were going to get better after this. I just knew it.
