** A few days later ** 

I was finally home from the hospital and as I thought, things were different. Dad doted on Axl, and he had been a lot nicer to me too. It was nice for things not to be like they were. I was really worried things would never get back to normal and now, well, they were even better than normal even was!

While I was in the hospital, recovering a little, mum and dad put the cot together in my room for me. I had left it till the last minute to do it myself, but in all fairness, he was a few weeks early.
