As soon as I left the room, My mind went into overdrive thinking about everything. Yesterday was like a whirlwind. I broke up with Georgie and in the hours that followed, I was sleeping with Violet.
Sure, it happened fast, but it just felt… right.
When I was with her… making love to her, it was like something clicked in my brain.
Sure there was an age difference and we didn’t live in the same place but... When I'm with her, that stuff doesn't matter and I refuse to think about it now and ruin my good mood. I was happy, genuinely very happy.

Chapter Twenty Seven I was up bright and early the next day which wasn’t like me at all but the nightmares I’d been having all night helped with getting up because I hardly slept.
