I look up to see Xavier glaring at Bennett, his face colder than usual.
Did i miss something?
They stare at each other, Bennett with guilty eyes, and Xavier with the intensity of fire. I think am burning, no am probably melting like chocolate.
The air is caked with tension, breathing now a luxury I can hardly afford.
You know I have to try my best not to make a single sound. Don't wanna get caught up in the heat.
Now i understand what Bennett meant when he used the word complicated to describe their relationship.
This is so confusing.

Xavier's pov (literally the end.) Soft sobs. No matter how sleepy I am I can't seem to ignore.
