Chapter Nine
16th January, 2009.
LAGOS, Nigeria.John Summers woke up by 6:10 am, he quickly went to take his bath. He’d be checking out of the hotel by 7am, and he’d have to get dressed as fast as possible in order to be right on schedule, he had already packed his luggages the night before.
By 6:45, he was fully dressed, and ready to checkout of the hotel. He locked the door to his hotel room, and dragged his suitcase, down the hallway and into the elevators, his laptop bag slung on his back. The elevator took him down to the groundfloor, and he stepped out and walked towards the checkout counter. As soon as he stepped out of the elevators, a bellboy rushed towards him and took his suitcase from him, pulling it to the checkout counter. The woman at the checkout counter typed away at her keyboard for a few minutes, before handing him his hotel bill for him to sign.He signed his bill, and paid with his card.Related chapters
