Aching......

Clever managed to open his eyes and found a woman with curly light brown hair working on his wound, bandaging it… very wrong in any way he can tell.

‘Lucky, got saved by a kind-hearted woman who is willing to take care of me… Great.’ Clever thought to himself, almost not sure if he's sarcastically telling himself that he'd rather die than get help from someone… He doesn't know.

But then he chose to be thankful rather than being a dick, who is he to complain, right?

 But soon regretted it as the woman started to rub his body with a wet towel!

‘Who gave permission for this woman to rub my whole body!’ He growled. ‘No one, not even him!’

“It's fine, I'm just cleaning your fur. It's a shame not to take off the dry blood since your fur is all white… and soft.” She gently said, as if she could hear his complaint.

Her hand moved almost to every part of his body, and it sent a billion bolts up to Clever’s spine.

It seemed that he was actually unlucky today, got ambushed by his rivals, and a woman picked him up and rubbed him without permission!

But who is he to complain now or choose who should pick up and help him?

“Damn!” He cursed under his breath.

And what's even worse, he can't accept the fact that now that his whole body has been touched by her, something inside him has been awakened!

He stiffened almost every touch of her fingers through his fur and body… It's too ticklish.

Clever could not help but twitch his body. 

"Hey, don't be nervous, I'm just cleaning your body, and so your wound will not get infected," she said, almost whispering like she was trying to calm him down.

"I'm not nervous, you idiot! Don't touch me! I'm an Alpha, no one dares to touch me!" He said angrily and a bit shy…

His wolf form growled, but the woman didn't bugger, she just patted his head and rubbed it to calm him down again.

"Shh, calm down. I'm not going to hurt you," the sweet voice of the woman made Clever shut up.

“Fuck!” Clever spat out, “She can't even understand me!” He's already frustrated as it is, and to think the woman could not even hear him made it worse.

“It's done, it's done! I'm done cleaning your wound, let your fur dry!” She exclaimed as she immediately gave her best to carry him to her own bed and put it in her own thigh.

She started drying the fur with the blower, and even though Clever wanted to refuse because of his uncomfortable position on the woman's thigh, he couldn't do anything… at all.

Not in his wolf form!

"She can dry me without me sitting on her thigh! Why is it necessary for her to dry me in this position?!" Clever complained to himself. He felt very ashamed at those times. 

And what struck him is he had to pretend he was a normal dog and act like one, an Alpha like him doing something low enough for everyone to laugh at him!

He couldn’t do anything, and he was disgusted because of it. Why did this happen? He just wanted to escape from his enemies at that time; he never thought that this was what he would suffer!

He knew that they were the only two in the room, but he was still uneasy. In his mind, someone would suddenly enter the room and see the strange position they are now in. He could not imagine that such a thing could happen. 

He’s a pack leader, and he'll just be seen in an awkward position with a lowlife woman? Of course, he wouldn't let that happen! In the form of a wolf and lying on a woman's lap? Ha! Who does he intend to fool? He could not bear to be seen by others as a poor dog!

Clever only felt comfortable when the woman put him down on the bed, her hand carefully avoided hurting Clever's wound as she could… And he appreciated it, though still hated the fact that she touched him.

“Oh! I remember, I got you some food! It's not really the expensive one, but the store clerk recommended it!” She stood happily and prepared the ‘thing’ she called food.

Clever winced at the horrible sight in front of him right now!

He hadn't thought of such a thing when he agreed to act like a normal dog in front of the woman!

The waves of emotion poured at one, he seemed to prefer to fight rather than to eat the food she prepared in front of him. 

"Please, eat this one, okay? My wallet is a bit tight right now, but I promise to buy you something good later. Eat this, and it'll be easier for your wound to heal." She encouraged him as she patted his head.

"Hah! She really thinks I'm just a normal dog! Oh buds! Let me tell you, I'm a wolf! An alpha Wolf!" Clever said arrogantly to himself. 

He can't accept how the woman treats him like a real normal dog, but on second thought, he can't really blame her at all!

Clever could smell the unpleasant smell of Dog food, and he almost puked.

“Damn it!” He cursed and tried to stand up, but failed.

Now, he's really questioning himself for choosing to shift and not thinking of another solution to escape from his enemies! 

He wanted to scold himself, but doing so won't really change anything if he does that.

"Oh Moon Goddess! I miss the food at home," Clever thought pitiful, almost sounding a plea.

He tried to taste it but almost puked as it slid down to his throat… He can't do it anymore!

“Maybe you don't like this one, or you have no appetite because of the wound, I won't force you to eat it then. Let's rest for now.” She said,

Clever let out a sigh of relief as the woman lay down on her bed, and it only took a few minutes for her to fall asleep.

“Finally!” Clever whispered, he can finally shift his form back to normal and leave, he can enjoy his life again in his mansion, and go back to his cozy bed.

He smirked from his thoughts.

He tried .... 

And tried.

But when he repeatedly tries to return to his normal form, nothing happens! 

He could not! 

Whatever he did, he could not return to his human form!

He immediately looked at where the dog plate was placed. 

"Is it because I taste the dog food that I really became a dog?" Clever was terrified of the thought.
