“I’ll be damned!” I heard Ian whisper next to me in astonishment.

I slowly watched as Robert’s wolf started whimpering and twitching uncomfortably, before turning back into his naked human form.

Davina, who I noticed was a little clogged up as soon as she saw her father’s wolf in front of her, was staring with wide eyes at the scene that unfolded before her.

When she eventually broke out of her haze and registered that her spell worked without any faults or consequences, the deepest most genuine smile claimed her face, she looked at me with pure bliss as she ran towards me and threw her hands around my neck in a breath-taking passionate embrace.

I took her in immediately and folded my arms around her, as the same smile broke on my face too.

I was so damn proud of her. Proud of her strength, her strong will to use her magic for the greater good, and her confidence in herself and consequentially in me as well to keep her sane and away from the darkness’s reach.
