Eva's POV 

"Where are you going Crystal?" My mother asked from behind me.

"I'm going to play with Drake, mommy." My ten year old self answered as I ran towards the woods.

I passed trees and bushes as I made my way towards the place where Drake and I would meet and play. 

Even though he was six years older than me, he never failed to keep me company. He would always play with me when no one else would. 

I was born into a werewolf family but I was born without a wolf which made everyone look down on me. 

Us werewolves, come to life with our wolves with us but we don't shift until we are sixteen years of age and me not having a wolf made me the pack's disgrace, even my parents weren't that fond of me. 

Drake only however, was the one that stayed by my side and became my friend.
