I looked up to see my savior.
“Damian,” I breathed with relief.
He was looking at Collin, his perfect dashing smile in place, but his eyes were glinting dangerously.
And a moment later, I felt an arm encircling my waist. “And with me,” Rai said.
“Rai.” I looked at him, and he was eyeing Collin coldly. Seeing the two men guarding me, Collin let go of my hand.
“Sorry, Damian, Rai. I didn't know she was with you guys,” Collin said while backing away.
Rai and Damian nodded curtly at Collin, and then in the next second, he was gone.
They whisked me to a corner and stood guard in front of me, with my back against the wall.
“Princess, are you alright?” Rai asked.
“Kat, are you okay?” Damian asked at the same time.
“I’m fine,” I told both of them despite the fear I was feeling. I didn’t want them to hurt Collin. They had saved me just in time, so hurting Collin would only damage their reputations, and I didn’t want that to happen.
“Are you sure, Princess?” Rai asked with concern in his eyes.
“He didn't touch you in any other way, did he? If he touched you, I swear I’ll kill him.” Damian, the ever protector, growled.
“I’m fine, guys, really. And no, he didn't touch me in any other way.” I looked at both of them reassuringly, my fear dissipating with them being so protective over me.
“Damian, you should have known better than to leave her alone.” Rai glared at Damian.
“You were the one who kept on leaving her side.” Damian glared back.
Oh boy, I thought.
“Guys, please. I’m fine. Please don’t make a big deal out of this.” I said, trying to ease the tension between the two best friends.
“Rai, it was partly my fault. I was the one who spilled my drink on Damian, so he needed to go to the restroom to clean it. Don’t be mad, okay?” I caressed his cheek, trying to calm him down.
He scowled at Damian but let it go. I tiptoed to kiss his cheek, whispering, “Thank you.” He smiled warmly at me, pulling me close to him.
I looked at him, then at Damian.
“Kiss and make-up?” I said to them.
They looked at each other and burst into laughter.
“What’s happening? Why are you guys laughing?” I asked curiously.
They both shook their heads and grinned at me.
Suddenly I remembered something Collin said.
“Why didn't Collin believe me when I told him I’m here with you guys? Am I not the usual type you guys usually come with? Do I not look good enough?” I questioned both of them; my heart fell at the thought of disappointing them.
They looked at each other again. Rai pulled me even closer and kissed my lips. “You look perfect, princess. Did you not notice the men ogling you? I wish I could gauge their eyes out for ogling you.” Rai sighed.
“Then why didn't he believe me? And please don't lie to me. ” I told them, my voice small, forcing them to answer. I wanted to know the reason.
“Ahh.. that must be because we never bring any lady along,” Damian said.
“What?!” I was so shocked to hear this that I nearly shouted.
“I don't believe you,” I said in a normal voice.
“It’s true. We usually go alone or just the two of us.” Rai said.
“Yeah, most of them think we are gay for each other.” Damian laughed.
Ohhh.. that was why they laughed when I asked them to ‘kiss and makeup’.
“You should try acting gay just to see their reactions,” I said mischievously.
They laughed at my suggestion.
“And how do we do that, do you think, Kat?” Damian asked, still laughing.
“I don’t know. Hold hands? Kiss?” I laughed.
“Nahhh.. it will destroy our mysterious image,” Damian said, grinning.
“Hmm.. How about this..” I said suggestively.
“Rai, you stand here.” I positioned Rai with his back two steps away from the wall.
“And Damian, stand there.” I pointed to a spot two steps away from Rai.
“Face Rai,” I told him again.
“Now, Damian, you will corner Rai to the wall, till his back is against the wall, till he couldn’t escape. Place one of your hands on the wall, leaning onto Rai. Then tilt his head up so he looks at you. Brush his bottom lip with your thumb, say something sexy and smile seductively.” I instructed, grinning at him.
“Rai, you just need to act all shy and do try to blush,” I said to Rai, still grinning.
Both of them were trying hard not to laugh aloud at my silly suggestion, their bodies shaking from their stifled laughter.
“Well, Rai, shall we act it out?” Damian, grinning, took a step toward Rai.
Rai stepped back and sideways, avoiding Damian, and said, “In your dream, my friend, in your dream.” He grinned back.
I laughed while looking at both of them. They were so cute.
Rai turned to me and protested, “Why do I have to be the one that’s all shy and blushing?”
“Because you are shorter, and I don't think you can pull the sexy, seductive act against Damian,” I said, smiling broadly at him.
“Oh? You don't think I can pull the sexy, seductive act?” He asked, taking a step toward me.
“Well.. You can. But I think Damian will do it better.” I took a step back subconsciously.
“Really, Princess? Really?” He took another step forward, his eyes twinkling, smiling dangerously.
“No, you can’t.” I laughed, shaking my head. Suddenly I felt the wall against my back.
Rai had cornered me to the wall. He placed one of his hands on the wall, leaned onto me, and tilted my head back, so I was looking at him.
“Really, Princess?” He brushed my bottom lip slowly while licking his own lips. He then smiled a slow, dangerously sexy smile. My eyes widened at the sight, my heart started to race, and without knowing it, I bit my lip.
Suddenly I heard Damian’s laughter. “He got you, Kat.” His body shook with laughter.
I could feel my whole face going red. Rai grinned at me. I punched him, and he laughed. Instinctively, I went to Damian, punching him a few times. Of course, it only made him laugh much harder. Rai, as usual, pulled my hands and held me from behind. I could hear him laughing.
“Stop it, guys.” I pouted and stomped my foot.
“Sorry, Princess,” Rai said, and I knew for sure that he was grinning.
“Oops.. I think we’ve made a spectacle of ourselves.” Suddenly Damian said.
We looked around, and many people were watching us.
“We’ve spent more than enough time here as it is; it’s time to go home,” Rai said.
We went to see the host to say our goodbyes, then started to exit the ballroom.
“I need to use the restroom first,” I told them.
Finishing up in the restroom, I went out the door and suddenly was surrounded by a group of ladies who asked me questions about Rai and Damian.
“How did you get them to bring you?”, “How did you make them laugh so much and so hard?”, “How did you land them?”, “Are you with Damian or Rai?” and so many other questions simultaneously.
“Umm.. Ummm..” I didn't know what to say.
All of a sudden, I saw Damian making his way toward me. “Excuse me, ladies.” He said politely. Rai followed closely behind him. “Ladies,” he nodded to them.
Both of them extended their hands to me. I took both their hands, and they escorted me away.
Wow, they were so popular among the ladies, way more than I’ve imagined, I thought.
We returned home. I was too spent from the party, so I decided to sleep as soon as possible, thinking how lucky I was to have them both for myself. I woke up for a few seconds when I felt Rai coming to bed, hugging me from behind.
So dear readers,It’s true when I told Damian that this story is not about Rai and me, and me and Damian. This story is about me and Damian, from the moment we knew each other through texts, up to our happy ending.Of course, I was very blessed to know and fall in love with Rai. He is still my greatest love and my worse heartbreak. He was gentle and had never hurt me, well, except maybe when he was jealous of Frank and when he saw Damian and me together. He was the perfect boyfriend and forever will be my greatest love.Damian is the love of my life. He gave me strength, and he made me strong. So what do all my lovely readers think? Do I deserve to be with Damian after everything we’ve been through? Or am I too weak for him? I’d like to think I deserve to be with him since I love him so much. But what do you think? And I have just begun to read his POV. It seems interesting. Let me show you a bit of it. It starts off with him canceling his engagement with Clarissa.•••“Uncle, Aunt
Damian and I were lounging on our bed as per usual before we went to sleep. He was reading on his tablet while I was browsing through the internet.I heard his heavy sigh, saw him put his tablet on the bedside table, and he suddenly pulled me toward him abruptly, holding me tight in his arms.“What happened?” I asked him. It felt like he was afraid of losing me, that I would leave him.“I just finished reading your journal,” he mumbled against the top of my head.Ohhh.. That’s why.I pulled back from his tight embrace so I could see his expression.“Why are you sad?” I asked him.“I was such a dick to you, wasn't I?” he asked with a self-deprecating smile on his face.“You were.” I nodded and pretended to agree with him. “And still are sometimes.” I laughed.“But you are my dick,” I added with a teasing smile. I saw his self-deprecating smile turn into a smile of amusement.“I can't believe I put you through so many troubles.” He pulled me back into his embrace and sighed.“It’s all
I walked into our bedroom and saw Damian walking out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped lowly around his hips, looking as sexy as ever.I had just finished putting on little Luna to sleep and was tired. I quickly went to the bathroom to take a shower, exiting with only a tiny towel covering my petite body.“Baby girl, come here,” I heard Damian’s voice and turned to look at him.I had to swallow hard, looking at the vision in front of me. My handsome and sexy husband was sitting at the edge of the bed, butt-naked, and he was stroking his huge cock that had hardened. I swore I began to get wet just by looking at him being so hot.I went stand in front of him, and he yanked my towel away from my body, leaving me as naked as him.He pulled me forcefully to him, and I sat on his lap, straddling him. He kissed me long and hard without warning, leaving me panting when he withdrew.“You’ve been taking care of the kids. Now it's time for you to take care of your husband,” he husked ou
“You are home, Baby girl,” Damian said as he glanced at me. It had been three months since our wedding reception, and I was quite busy most days. I had to manage the Castilles Hotel, my clothing business, and also the sanatorium I had built with Damian to help people who needed free psychological consultations.I had that idea when I had been kidnapped and found Luna, the girl who had accompanied me, had died. At first, I wanted to build an orphanage for abandoned children, but as there were too many of them, Damian suggested we build a sanatorium instead to help those who had traumas like us. With helps from his friends and connections, we now had more than twenty psychologists and psychiatrists to help us.Today was a tiring day after visiting the sanatorium. The patients always loved to talk to me, and I gladly accompanied them until it was time for me to return home to my family. When I reached home today, I found Damian in the nursery holding our little girl, as he always did.“
I was standing in front of the massive double door, waiting for it to be opened. Today was our second wedding reception.Yesterday was our first; the guests were families and close friends. Damian didn't follow the conventional wedding reception where we walked together down the hall toward the stage. Instead, we all stood on the stage with mist covering us from the guests. When the fog disappeared, I was surprised. The ballroom was turned into what looked like a huge ice kingdom. I should’ve known from the color of my gown and his suit - silver and white. My gown was of A-line shape yesterday, and I had a high crown on my head. I felt like a queen of the ice kingdom. The ladies of our main families wore lighter shades of silver, including Rai’s mom, Cecilia, my mom, my sister-in-law, and even little Luna. The men wore suits in the same lighter shades of silver too. We stood on the stage with Damian holding little Luna in his arms while I held little Rai’s hand.My mom, Rai’s parents
It had been there months after our wedding, and we were having breakfast together. Little Rai was still asleep, and we didn't wake him up since it was the weekend.I was sipping my tea, and Damian was sipping his coffee. Life after marriage was blissful. We had no more fights, and every day was filled with happiness, love, and laughter.“Damian, I have a gift for you,” I told him as I placed my teacup on the table.“Is it inside the box on your lap?” he asked with a smile.I had brought the surprise for him and placed it on my lap throughout our breakfast. Now that we had finished eating, it was time for me to give it to him.I picked up the box and slid it across the table to him.He opened it and looked confused as he picked up the long and thin thing inside the box. “Positive..” he murmured. I kept quiet and had to stop myself from smiling or laughing. His head suddenly snapped up, and he looked at me. “Positive?” His confused looked turned into bewilderment.“Yes.” I couldn't hid
