I looked up to see my savior.
“Damian,” I breathed with relief.
He was looking at Collin, his perfect dashing smile in place, but his eyes were glinting dangerously.
And a moment later, I felt an arm encircling my waist. “And with me,” Rai said.
“Rai.” I looked at him, and he was eyeing Collin coldly. Seeing the two men guarding me, Collin let go of my hand.
“Sorry, Damian, Rai. I didn't know she was with you guys,” Collin said while backing away.
Rai and Damian nodded curtly at Collin, and then in the next second, he was gone.
They whisked me to a corner and stood guard in front of me, with my back against the wall.
“Princess, are you alright?” Rai asked.
“Kat, are you okay?” Damian asked at the same time.
“I’m fine,” I told both of them despite the fear I was feeling. I didn’t want them to hurt Collin. They had saved me just in time, so hurting Collin would only damage their reputations, and I didn’t want that to happen.
“Are you sure, Princess?” Rai asked with concern in his eyes.
“He didn't touch you in any other way, did he? If he touched you, I swear I’ll kill him.” Damian, the ever protector, growled.
“I’m fine, guys, really. And no, he didn't touch me in any other way.” I looked at both of them reassuringly, my fear dissipating with them being so protective over me.
“Damian, you should have known better than to leave her alone.” Rai glared at Damian.
“You were the one who kept on leaving her side.” Damian glared back.
Oh boy, I thought.
“Guys, please. I’m fine. Please don’t make a big deal out of this.” I said, trying to ease the tension between the two best friends.
“Rai, it was partly my fault. I was the one who spilled my drink on Damian, so he needed to go to the restroom to clean it. Don’t be mad, okay?” I caressed his cheek, trying to calm him down.
He scowled at Damian but let it go. I tiptoed to kiss his cheek, whispering, “Thank you.” He smiled warmly at me, pulling me close to him.
I looked at him, then at Damian.
“Kiss and make-up?” I said to them.
They looked at each other and burst into laughter.
“What’s happening? Why are you guys laughing?” I asked curiously.
They both shook their heads and grinned at me.
Suddenly I remembered something Collin said.
“Why didn't Collin believe me when I told him I’m here with you guys? Am I not the usual type you guys usually come with? Do I not look good enough?” I questioned both of them; my heart fell at the thought of disappointing them.
They looked at each other again. Rai pulled me even closer and kissed my lips. “You look perfect, princess. Did you not notice the men ogling you? I wish I could gauge their eyes out for ogling you.” Rai sighed.
“Then why didn't he believe me? And please don't lie to me. ” I told them, my voice small, forcing them to answer. I wanted to know the reason.
“Ahh.. that must be because we never bring any lady along,” Damian said.
“What?!” I was so shocked to hear this that I nearly shouted.
“I don't believe you,” I said in a normal voice.
“It’s true. We usually go alone or just the two of us.” Rai said.
“Yeah, most of them think we are gay for each other.” Damian laughed.
Ohhh.. that was why they laughed when I asked them to ‘kiss and makeup’.
“You should try acting gay just to see their reactions,” I said mischievously.
They laughed at my suggestion.
“And how do we do that, do you think, Kat?” Damian asked, still laughing.
“I don’t know. Hold hands? Kiss?” I laughed.
“Nahhh.. it will destroy our mysterious image,” Damian said, grinning.
“Hmm.. How about this..” I said suggestively.
“Rai, you stand here.” I positioned Rai with his back two steps away from the wall.
“And Damian, stand there.” I pointed to a spot two steps away from Rai.
“Face Rai,” I told him again.
“Now, Damian, you will corner Rai to the wall, till his back is against the wall, till he couldn’t escape. Place one of your hands on the wall, leaning onto Rai. Then tilt his head up so he looks at you. Brush his bottom lip with your thumb, say something sexy and smile seductively.” I instructed, grinning at him.
“Rai, you just need to act all shy and do try to blush,” I said to Rai, still grinning.
Both of them were trying hard not to laugh aloud at my silly suggestion, their bodies shaking from their stifled laughter.
“Well, Rai, shall we act it out?” Damian, grinning, took a step toward Rai.
Rai stepped back and sideways, avoiding Damian, and said, “In your dream, my friend, in your dream.” He grinned back.
I laughed while looking at both of them. They were so cute.
Rai turned to me and protested, “Why do I have to be the one that’s all shy and blushing?”
“Because you are shorter, and I don't think you can pull the sexy, seductive act against Damian,” I said, smiling broadly at him.
“Oh? You don't think I can pull the sexy, seductive act?” He asked, taking a step toward me.
“Well.. You can. But I think Damian will do it better.” I took a step back subconsciously.
“Really, Princess? Really?” He took another step forward, his eyes twinkling, smiling dangerously.
“No, you can’t.” I laughed, shaking my head. Suddenly I felt the wall against my back.
Rai had cornered me to the wall. He placed one of his hands on the wall, leaned onto me, and tilted my head back, so I was looking at him.
“Really, Princess?” He brushed my bottom lip slowly while licking his own lips. He then smiled a slow, dangerously sexy smile. My eyes widened at the sight, my heart started to race, and without knowing it, I bit my lip.
Suddenly I heard Damian’s laughter. “He got you, Kat.” His body shook with laughter.
I could feel my whole face going red. Rai grinned at me. I punched him, and he laughed. Instinctively, I went to Damian, punching him a few times. Of course, it only made him laugh much harder. Rai, as usual, pulled my hands and held me from behind. I could hear him laughing.
“Stop it, guys.” I pouted and stomped my foot.
“Sorry, Princess,” Rai said, and I knew for sure that he was grinning.
“Oops.. I think we’ve made a spectacle of ourselves.” Suddenly Damian said.
We looked around, and many people were watching us.
“We’ve spent more than enough time here as it is; it’s time to go home,” Rai said.
We went to see the host to say our goodbyes, then started to exit the ballroom.
“I need to use the restroom first,” I told them.
Finishing up in the restroom, I went out the door and suddenly was surrounded by a group of ladies who asked me questions about Rai and Damian.
“How did you get them to bring you?”, “How did you make them laugh so much and so hard?”, “How did you land them?”, “Are you with Damian or Rai?” and so many other questions simultaneously.
“Umm.. Ummm..” I didn't know what to say.
All of a sudden, I saw Damian making his way toward me. “Excuse me, ladies.” He said politely. Rai followed closely behind him. “Ladies,” he nodded to them.
Both of them extended their hands to me. I took both their hands, and they escorted me away.
Wow, they were so popular among the ladies, way more than I’ve imagined, I thought.
We returned home. I was too spent from the party, so I decided to sleep as soon as possible, thinking how lucky I was to have them both for myself. I woke up for a few seconds when I felt Rai coming to bed, hugging me from behind.
The following day, I went down to a sight I’d never seen before. Rai and Damian were making breakfast. They were talking and joking around. I’d never seen them interact this freely before, especially Rai. He was so different from the day when we first met. “Morning, boys.” I made my way to Rai. “Morning, Princess.” He circled my waist and kissed me. “Morning, Kat.” Damian threw some flour at me. “Hey!” I protested, walking toward him, intending to punch him. Just as I raised my hand to beat him, he caught my hand, twirled me around, picked me up by my waist, and held me with my back against his body. “Damian! Put me down!” I shrieked, wriggling, trying to break away from him, but of course, it was a feeble attempt. Damian laughed, and I looked at Rai for help, but he was laughing too. These two, I thought. “Rai!” I glared at him. Finally, he came at us, still laughing. When he reached out his hands to get me, Damian stepped away so Rai couldn't get to me. “Fight me for your pr
I led them to a specific store that sold leather jackets.“Do you guys have leather jackets?” I asked them.“No.” They both said again as they shook their heads.I thought so, that was the reason I brought them to the store. As good as they look, their style was so boring. They didn’t have any casual clothes! And I knew for sure that leather jackets would look sexy on them.“You each should get one then,” I told them.I looked around the store, thinking about how I would style them. I was excited to see them being even sexier.“Damian, come here,” I called him to hand him the clothing I had picked for him. I chose a black leather biker jacket, black slim-fit jeans, and a fitted black shirt. He should look good in all black, I thought to myself.“Try these on. Button up all the buttons on the shirt, even the very top one, and roll the shirt's cuffs over the leath
One morning, I woke up to the feel of someone licking my lips repeatedly. “Rai?” I asked as I opened my eyes. Rai was kneeling beside the bed, holding a puppy close to my face. I sat up and squealed. “Rai! Oh my God, you bought a puppy!” I said excitedly. I reached out my hands to hold the puppy, and Rai gave it to me. “I’ve wanted to have a puppy for so long, and when you said you love puppies last time, I decided to buy one. It was just delivered a while ago.” He grinned as he looked at the puppy licking my face. “Pom, right? White color? How old is it?” I asked him, laughing as the puppy tried to run around the bed. “Yes, she’s a teacup Pomeranian, pure white color. She’s two months old. I have the certificate. Here it is.” He gave me the cert. As I checked the birth certificate out, Rai took the puppy and held it against his chest. I saw that it was of a Thailand champion bloodline. I knew that a Pomeranian with a champion bloodline cost more than USD1000. I looked at the p
"Don't look, Princess. Damian is going to eat Leah," Rai said. I could hear the alarm in his voice. He seemed horrified by what he saw.“But..” I protested."Please don't look, Princess," Rai said nervously as he kept his hold on the back of my head, preventing me from looking at Damian and Leah.Is Damian really going to eat Leah? I have to save her!I didn’t want Leah to get eaten by Damian, so I braved myself and struggled against Rai's hold to turn my head around to look at Damian and Leah. When my gaze landed on them, I saw that Damian had his mouth over Leah's body."Nooo!! Don't eat Leah!!" I screamed and quickly snatched Leah away from Damian. The moment I snatched Leah away, both Damian and Rai burst out laughing again. I then realized that they were just teasing me.I went to Damian while holding Leah in one hand and karate-cho
The next day, Rai was busy. He was always on his phone and told me he would not be home till the afternoon to attend to some businesses. He asked me to go with him, but I preferred to stay at home with Leah. He understood. He just smiled and kissed me before going away.I spent my time with Damian and Leah, and I could say that it was one of the best times of my life. Damian and Leah were inseparable.“Damian, we are like a family. You, the dad. Me, the mom, and Leah is our child.” I told him as I laughed. He laughed and stroked Leah, who was sleeping on his lap.“You know what, Damian. It would be nice to have a child with you. I can imagine you running around the front yard with our little boy, laughing as you catch him. You’ll be a great dad.” I said without thinking, smiling and looking at a distance, imagining the scene.Damian just raised his e
Another morning not long after the breakfast scene, I woke up and couldn’t find both of them in the house. I heard their voices from the driveway, so I placed Leah in the pen, prepared her food and water, put them in the pen for her, and went out to see them. The sight I saw froze me. Yes, I know I kept freezing at the sight of them together; that just showed how beautiful they were together. While looking at them together in their formal attire was a sight of perfection, this sight was another form of perfection. They were washing one of Damian’s cars and were naked from their waists up. I took my time looking at their beautiful bodies. Both of them had muscles, but since Rai was leaner, he couldn’t compare to Damian. This was my first time looking at Damian without his shirt on. I noticed his naked body while he was sleeping, but I didn’t really look at it, so this was my first time. He was really muscular but not bulky. Just enough muscles for his beautiful body. Broad shoulders
The three of us spent the next two months blissfully happy. I was relieved that nothing had changed between the three of us. And I tried hard not to think about what happened between Damian and me. But that was until Rai needed to go back to the US.“Can you not go back, Rai?” I asked him the night before his departure.“I can’t, Princess. I need to take care of some businesses there.” He pulled me close to him.“But I’ll miss you.” I sighed in his embrace.“I know, Princess. I’ll miss you too.” He caressed my cheek.“Damian’s still going to be here, though; you can hang out with him. And with Leah too.” He suggested.“It won’t be the same, Rai, and you know it,” I said softly.“I know, Princess. I’ll come back to you as soon
One night I had the idea of sending Rai a voice note of me singing. I decided to sing the song ‘Right Here Waiting’ by Richard Marx. First, I needed to ask Damian if he could play the piano. I went down and found him in front of the tv, as usual. I wondered why he didn’t watch the tv in his room, but I had a more important thing to think about, so I brushed that thought away. “Damian, can you also play the piano?” I asked him, my body settling beside him as he circled his arm around me. “Why, Baby girl?” He asked as he caressed my hair. “I want to sing for Rai, and I need you to play the piano.. if you can.” I blushed because I knew I couldn’t sing, and he might laugh at me. “Hmm.. Okay. Which song?” He asked me. Thankfully, he didn’t laugh. “It’s this one.” I let him hear the song. “I know that song. Come.” He pulled me to the grand piano. As he sat down, he extended his hand, but I preferred to stand when I sang
