Violet stormed over to them.

"I had higher expectations. But your man turned out to be nothing but a scared little boy," Sean mocked. Violet ignored his remark and turned to Chris.

“You alright?” she asked, bristling, ready to make Sean regret it if he had harassed him. Chris darted a fearful glance at Sean before giving her a quick nod. Violet was unconvinced.

She fixed her glare on Sean and declared, "Don’t be afraid, Chris. If he has so much as hurt you, just say it. I’ll make sure he regrets it.”

What grated on Sean more than her loud mouth was her utter lack of fear towards him.

“Really? And what exactly will you do?” Sean pressed, his eyes gleaming with curiosity laced in mockery.

Violet’s eyes narrowed sharply. What irked her more than his arrogance was the mockery dripping from his tone. That made him beyond insufferable.

"Don't tempt me to prove it," Violet shot back, meaning her words.

"I am fine. Can we go home?" Chris intervened, not wanting to be caught between the

  • My Beta Charming   Seducing Him

Violet was beyond frustrated now. Chris and Snoopy had returned, but with only half the work done. The reason? Sean had banned the sale of certain herbs without his consent. Anyone who wished to buy them now needed to secure his stamp of approval first, otherwise, the purchase was impossible. Jerk. They had even tried tobribe them but the owner refused, scared of being caught. She found herself in a spot now. Asking him for his approval was out of the question. He was already suspicious about her, and she couldn't risk fueling it further. Yet she needed those items, or hell would break loose. She had to get those herbs by any means possible, and that too without drawing his suspicion. ........Sean had just finished his workout and was heading to the shower when the doorbell rang. Tossing the towel onto the bed and throwing on a shirt, he headed downstairs. Outside, the low rumble of thunder echoed through the clouds. He opened the door to the most unexpected sight. Violet stood

  • My Beta Charming   His Responsibility

With a flick of his hand, Sean signaled for him to sit while he circled around to take his place behind the desk. Chris sank into the chair stiffly, unease written across his face.“First time here?” Sean asked, settling into his chair with a casual ease that belied the sharpness in his eyes.“Yes,” Chris admitted with a nod. Sean leaned forward an inch, assessing him critically.“Why?” Sean’s voice was even, but the steeple of his fingers made him look like he was weighing Chris’s very existence.“Sorry?” Chris faltered, not following him. “Why are you here?” Sean repeated, the gesture giving his words a weight that made Chris shift nervously.“I wandered aimlessly. I was homeless,” he explained. Sean leaned back and studied him in silence, calculating. Chris shrank slightly under his cutting gaze. “You’re not a werewolf,” he pointed out casually, shrugging, but his eyes didn’t leave Chris, sharp and assessing, as if he was waiting for one mistake from him. "I am not. I am perh

  • My Beta Charming   Custody

Chris put on the shirt that Violet had brought for him and stood like a statue, letting her scrutinize him. It hung a little loose, but his tall frame kept it from looking comical. At last, Violet gave a small nod of approval. "I'll pay you every month, then you can buy clothes of your liking," she said. "I loved the clothes," Chris told her, grinning. Violet heard him but didn't share his childish enthusiasm. She turned to Snoopy and asked about the herbs that she had asked him to grind. The day was approaching fast, and before it came, she had to send Chris to the store to buy herbs. The trick was, she couldn’t get them from here. They would have to be bought from another store, probably one belonging to the enemy pack of Alpha Azriel. She wouldn't send him alone, though; Snoopy would accompany him. After assigning them their tasks, Violet turned to her own work.Barely an hour had passed when Snoopy trotted back into the house, Sean right behind him. Snoopy looked like a pebble

  • My Beta Charming   Shopping For The Man

The boy stopped mid-stride. Violet walked over to him. He turned towards her, his eyes now bright with hope. She took a moment to study him before asking, "You'll obey my every word. No question asked." The boy nodded eagerly, 'I'll do everything you ask of me." He declared his loyalty to her without missing a beat. "What's your name again?" Violet questioned. "Chris," he replied, grinning ear to ear. ...........Violet wandered through the men’s section, a few clothes draped over her arm. She’d also grabbed some essentials for Chris, toothpaste, soap, and other basics. She could have summoned them magically, but decided to do it the normal way. The woman placed the things on the counter and waited while the receptionist scanned the items. “I could have imagined a pig shopping in here… but definitely not you,” a familiar voice drifted near her ear, almost making her leap. She turned to see him looming, that signature cocky smirk in place as he looked down at her. Violet resist

  • My Beta Charming   The Boy

Violet drove down the street lined by forest on both sides. As her truck needed some fixing, she had to make a quick trip to the city. Now, she was on her way back home. Low-hanging clouds drifted above, and the road stretched wide between towering trees, her windshield reflecting the scene like a painting by a nature lover. The road, too, was largely deserted, interrupted only by the occasional speeding car. She wished she could enjoy the view, but she couldn't, not when troubles dangled above her head like a swinging sword. Feeding day was almost here, and she had yet to gather all the necessary ingredients. If she didn't feed the creatures, he would be very mad at her. Her eyes widened suddenly. Out of nowhere, someone appeared in front of her car. She hit the brakes, but the truck still collided with it. Stunned, Violet climbed out of the truck. A boy lay motionless on the road before her, wounded and unconscious. Violet crouched beside him and shook his shoulder, but he didn’t s
