ENDLESS PROBING

I blinked, trying to get past the haziness the medications has left. I opened my eyes to find Liam seated on the same chair, his face an expressionless mask, he doesn’t seemed to have moved at all. He continued to look at me with concern creasing between his eyebrows, he dint utter a single word. My eyes widened, until they could no more. I sat upright in an instant. The dizziness was shunned away by the shock. What is he doing here!? But that’s not what I asked.

“How long have you been here!?” I croaked, in distress. He took his time observing me, his eyes travelled from my impossibly tangled hair, to my sleep slapped face, his eyes lingered a while longer on my lips as I ignored the urge to bite them. His eyes lazily travelled to my neck, entirely wrapped up by my untamed hair and slowly lower…I crossed my hands across my chest cutting off his deplorable gaze.
