Andrella's POV

.

.

.

"Andy..."

.

I gasped and looked around but there was no one. "Who is there?", I asked softly, holding her nightdress. From a very small age, I always used to hear someone's voice. It felt like someone used to call me every night but whenever I used to search for that voice. I used to find no one. I walked in the dark forest for a long and then got lost. I couldn't remember in which direction I should go back. That's why to solve my problem. I started climbing on the tree.

Once I reached the peak of the tree, I turned my head in all directions to see my home which was on the tallest building near the forest, and finally, I found it.

.

"It is dangerous to stand on the branch, Andy...", She again heard the mysterious voice and she lost her balance because of fear.

.

"Aaaaaahhhhhh", I cried loudly when I started falling down and waited for some minutes to feel the pain but even after a few minutes, I didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes and found myself safe and sound on the ground. I looked around in horror and saw a pair of complete white eyes were looking at me.

.

.

Before I could have said something or ask something from the eyes, my father found me. "You scared us, Andy.", He scolded, picking me from the dirt. "What were you doing here?"

.

"Dada, I saw someone here.", I said and pointed toward the bush. My father turned his head and looked toward the area when I was pointing but there was no one.

.

"But there is no one."

.

"Dada I swear, there was someone a moment before. When I fell from this tree...", I started explaining everything and in the meanwhile, I pointed toward the tree as well and to my surprise, there was no such tree. "Dada, trust me, I am not bluffing.", I said and showed her puppy eyes.

.

"I trust you, Princess. Now, let's go back to home. We will talk about it at home, Okay?", My father asked to which I nodded. I kept wondering where that mysterious person and that tree went just in a span of a few minutes. I explained everything to my parents. Though I sound ridiculous but I was expecting my parents to trust me and thankfully they did.

.

"Now, good night, Princess, and dare you to try to explore the forest at night.", My mother scolded, pointing her a finger at me.

.

"I promise that I won't follow that voice again, Mom.", I said before I was consumed by the darkness.

.

'We will meet again little Andy when you will be ready.', I heard but couldn't understand what exactly that voice meant?

.

.

.

7 Years Later

.

.

.

I gasped when I felt my name was again being called.

I blinked my eyes several times and looked around. I was in my hostel's room and no one was speaking around me.

Sighed, I sat on my bed and drank a glass of water. I needed more but the jug was empty. That's why I walked out of my room to get some more water. When I was doing so, I took a glance at the clock and I didn't get surprised by after looking at the time. I always feel like my name was being called by someone at 2 AM.

.

Should I worry? Or feel scared? Or Consult someone?

Because isn't it weird that I always get the same feeling at the same time. No one believes me when I share about this incidence except my parents and a part of me thinks they act to believe in me so that I won't feel bad.

My siblings started teasing me by saying I get these types of vibes because of my interest in supernatural creatures and my human friends started thinking of me as a Psyco for sure when I shared about it with them.

.

That's why ever since I stopped telling about it with anyone, even my parents.

.

Oops, I forgot to introduce myself to you guys. I am Andrella V. Cornell. I am 17 years old. Tomorrow is the last day of my high school and then I will become a college-going girl. If I talk about my family background then, my parents are not human and neither am I but they have sealed my powers to protect me from unwanted problems. So, basically, I am human now.

.

.

.

"Mom, My exams are finally over. Can I come back home to spend some time with you guys?", I asked my mother over the call. For an unknown reason, my parents don't let me stay with them. And whenever I try to talk about visiting them, they clearly refused the idea.

.

"No, Andy.", My mother replied. See, I told you. "Your father has deposited a good amount of money in your bank account. So, explore the world instead of wasting your time by staying at home.", She added to which I rolled my eyes.

.

"Fine, Mom", I answered in an unhappy tone before disconnecting the call. Others will have died for this opportunity but I wondered why I was not feeling happy?

Traveling is my hobby, right? Then Why I always find a reason to go back home.

Why I always had this feeling that this life which I was living between humans was not for me?

Like I have somewhere else to go?

Like I belong to another place?

.

Andy......

.

That mysterious voice again. I looked around and felt a cold breeze touching my skin. I closed my eyes and felt the wind.

.

Andy...

Oh, God...

'It's just my imagination.' I tried to convince myself. 'Or someone out there is calling for me?'

  • My Bride is Not a Human   Chapter 77: Epilouge

Andrella’s POV.“Why didn’t you wear the dress which I gifted you?”, Cade asked, the moment he saw me in a peach color mermaid style gown rather than the red, which he had gifted me. “Well, It’s not that you are not looking beautiful in it but I wanted to see you in the dress which I gifted you.”“Cade, it’s Becca’s marriage. Not mine!”, I reminded him, fixing his tie.“All right.”, He nodded in an understanding way. “By the way, I know you are going to be Becca’s bridesmaid but don’t forget your poor lover because my hand would start itching without touching you.”, He muttered and grabbed my round ass in his hand. I gasped in surprise and slapped at hand.

  • My Bride is Not a Human   Chapter 76: Welcome to the Family

Vince’s POV (Andrella’s Father) . Though Cade had informed me that my princess was him. I couldn’t help but start getting worried. You couldn’t blame me for that because whenever I had left my daughter with him, something definitely goes wrong in one way or another way. I was waiting for my princess to return home as soon as possible. And finally, I saw my princess reaching home with a big smile on her face. Thank god! This time nothing went wrong. I thought but immediately I realized that something was off. I couldn’t smell her, just like I couldn’t smell Cade’s presence. Once they complete the ritual, I wouldn’t be able to see my daughter. I knew that’s her destiny but I didn’t want that to happen. Thinking about the change in smell, it could only happen when...

  • My Bride is Not a Human   Chapter 75: Becoming One

Andrella’s POV.This was my turn to return his love.It was my turn to show him that I was his and I would do anything for him.But hearing my words out, he froze. “What did you say?”,I bit my lips. Tiptoeing I gave him a perk on his lips before giving him a shy smile. “I said….”, I started speaking, while he was waiting impatiently to hear me out, “NOTHING.”, I teased him and started laughing at his expression.“Annie, please”, He sounded desperate. “What did you say? Did you just...did you just say that you…”, He gulped nervously with a fear of what if I would start laughing AGAIN.

  • My Bride is Not a Human   Chapter 74: I love you

Cade’s POV . I watched Annie flying away from everyone as if she was scared that she could end up doing something worse. I was proud of her that she decided to leave rather than harming anyone even though her powers were not stable. Just like her father, even I didn’t run behind her because I knew she was disturbed and frustrated. It wouldn’t be wise to disturb her for a while after all I could find her location with my power. After an hour or two, I used my wind power and smiled finding her near the waterfall. Just like every school-age teenager, that place was OUR PLACE. In the next moment, I was near my bride, my love, my Annie. I didn’t have any idea about her mood now, but as per her father, it was not good to disturb any demons when the

  • My Bride is Not a Human   Chapter 73: Forcing Herself

Cade’s POV.She nodded her head. “Yeah! Just a headache”, She lied but I didn’t pressure her this time because I couldn’t help until she decided to share everything with me. It was like I couldn’t answer the question without knowing the question. “I will figure out everything very soon.”, She added, maybe after observing my worried expression.I studied her expression before nodding my head. “But be careful.”, I whispered and she gave me a reassuring smile before closing her eyes again.I felt useless, with the power that I had, still, I couldn’t help her.‘What a useless man I am.’

  • My Bride is Not a Human   Chapter 73: Are you okay, Annie?

Cade’s POV . “Annie, please tell me something.”, I asked again because I knew something was eating her up but she was not sharing that with me. I started feeling frustrated by this feeling since I used to be the one who used to handle everything, but this time, I had no idea how my bride was exactly feeling, and trust me this feeling was making me feel like shit. I felt weak. “Please”, I requested again. She sighed before speaking, “I am sorry for making me feel like this, Cade. And I know I should have talked with you about this before but I don’t think it’s that late.”, She paused for a while and then continued. “From the last few days, I am not able to remember my memories. It feels like those incidents are not true, especially the fact that you cheated on me.” SILENCE.
