Chapter 18 My job in my hand

When I got back, that Mercedes was not there.

I looked around, but it wasn't here. Then I went inside. Cami was waiting for me. We both made breakfast and got ready for work. After that, she drove me to the office. Then she left for her work.

I was in front of the Golden Company. I thought of our CEO, and I got nervous. especially when I remembered that I poured drinks on his suit. I just crossed my fingers and hoped that, at worst, I wouldn't be fired.

I went inside as I prayed to God not to get me fired today. I went to the elevator and pressed my floor. Then I saw Olivia and Jessica coming towards the elevator. Wow, what a great day! Now I'm sure it's going to be a bad day. My mood became worse. Then I clicked the close button.

When the door was closing, they came running, and before the elevator could close,they put their hands in between. The door opened again, and they entered the elevator. And I was like, hell, could something be worse than this?
