Chapter Three

I woke up the next morning to Mason knocking on the bedroom door. I sat up so fast and tried to fix my hair, before I answered the door. I don't know why I even bothered to try to look a little decent. It's not like I have a chance with the guy. He probably still sees me as a twelve-year-old. I answered the door when I thought I looked a little better. I looked up at Mason to see him smirking at me.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked confused. I looked down at myself to see if there was something out of place; but everything looked normal. I turned around to go look at myself through the mirror by his dresser, and I almost had a heart attack. Even though I tried to fix my hair, it didn't work. My curls never want to listen to me. my hair was all over the place. Damn I probably blew my chance with him now. Don't flatter yourself, you never had a chance with him. My inner self said. I rolled my eyes and turned around to go to my luggage. I pulled out a rubber band and put my hair up in a bun.

"What's up?" I said not knowing why he woke me up, just to laugh at how I looked.

"You skipped dinner last night, I figured you would want breakfast before I have to take you to your brother's house.

"Okay." I said as I followed him down stairs. As soon as I walked into the kitchen, my plate was already on the table.

"I had already ate, so I'm going to take a shower while you eat. I'll take you to your brother's after."

"Okay thank you." I said. As soon as he left I sat down and started to eat. I was so hungry; I was so stupid not to eat dinner last night. Mason fixed me plate of eggs, bacon, and toast. I put the eggs and bacon on the toast like a sandwich and ate like that. Once I was done I chugged my orange juice down. I then stood up and quickly cleaned my dishes and popped them into his dishwasher.

I went upstairs to see if he was still in the shower. When I noticed that he was still in the bathroom I ran to his bedroom. I wanted to get dressed before he got out, just in case he was going to come in here to change. I closed the door and tried to lock the bedroom door, when I noticed that he didn't have a lock. I contemplated for a minute whether I should get dressed at all; but then I made my choice. I ran to my luggage and opened it. I quickly got a new pair of a blue laced thong, a tight fitted, black skinny jean. I took out a tight fitted blue shirt that showed some cleavage. I quickly undressed and pulled on my blue lace bra and my matching blue lace thong. As I was slipping my jeans on, Mason opened the door. He had on nothing but a towel around him.

His short gold hair was still wet; and my God his body. water dripped down his muscular body. he had a six pack and a sexy v-line. I checked him out from top to bottom to bottom back to the top. My hazel eyes met his gorgeous blue eyes. We stood there for a minute before I realized I was half naked. I blushed and looked away, he took that as his que and walked out and closed the door.

I finished getting dressed and packed my luggage back up, I then walked out of the room. Mason was standing against the wall next to his room door. I was about to apologize to Mason, to explain, but he never gave me a chance to as he walked into his room and shut the door in my face. What and asshole. I thought to myself.

I walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth and gargle mouth wash. Once I was done with that, I washed my face and wet my hair again. Being mixed with black and white gives you a full set of curls. Curls that never want to obey you when you want it to. I settled to just brush my bangs to the front as I put my hair in that half up and half down style. I straightened my bangs and put eyeliner on. I didn't need to wear eyeliner or any make-up, because I was already pretty without it. I went half of my life without wearing make-up actually; but I wanted to show Mason that I'm not the little twelve-year-old girl he used to remember and pick on.

Once I was done, I walked out of the bathroom with my luggage. Mason waited for me downstairs. I walked downstairs with my luggage. This time as Mason and I walked to his car, he didn't help me put the luggage into his trunk. Once I got it in the trunk, I shut it and joined Mason in the car. I put my seat belt on and was about to talk to him, but he cut me off by putting his radio on. I got annoyed and gave up as I looked out of the window.

Fifteen minutes later we arrived at my brother's house. The moment I got out of Mason's car, the door to my brother's house opened and my brother Asher came running out. Asher ran and picked me up and swung me around.

"Put me down, your messing up my hair already." I yelled at him. He placed me back down on the ground and gave me a very tight hug.

"I miss you too bro, but I can't breathe." I say while trying to get out of his death grip. He finally let's go of me and walks over to Mason to give him one of those bro daps or whatever. They talked in hushed voices for a minute before Mason go back into his car without looking at me and drove off. Ash comes towards me and takes my luggage from me. We both walked into his house.

Ash put my luggage into the room I will be staying in for the next three months. Then he came back out and we both sat on the couch to catch up for lost time. I was hard being so far away from my brother, but we always kept in touch when we had time.

"How you been sis!" Asher asked me while nudging me playfully.

"I been good, just working like crazy lately, but now I'm on vacation. I'm ready to start this vacation right!" I say with so much excitement in my voice.

"How have you been. You are about to get married in three months, how do you feel?"

"I have been good and I feel the same way as any guy who is getting married would feel. I feel happy and excited, and now I am even more happy. I got the whole package now; my soon to be wife and my little sister. You have no idea how much I missed you kid."

"Ew, don't call me kid, I'm a grown ass woman now; but I am glad you are happy."

"Okay, okay, my apologies, don't kill me. I forget from time to time that you're not a baby anymore."

"Yea well, you better not forget this time." I say playfully. Asher started to laugh.

"Okay I won't. I did want to talk to you about something though." Ash said while being serious. My heart sped up a little, I didn't know what he wanted to talk to me about.

"Okay, what do you need to talk to me about?"

"Your date to the wedding. Your single right?"

"Um, yes?"

"So what are you going to do about a date when the wedding comes?"

"I figures if nothing else, I would just go solo."

"What absolutely not! Everyone that is coming to the wedding is going to have a date!"

"So. I will be the only one without one then." I said while shrugging my shoulders. Asher brushed his hair back as he normally did when he was stressing about something.

"There is no reason for you to go alone and I will not allow it. So let's make a deal."

"A deal? Seriously bro?"

"Yup, you have three months to find a date, if you don't find one by then, then I will find you one."

"Seriously? Fine, in three months I'll have a date." I said while smiling. Asher and I shook on it. After that we caught up some more that day.
