Old Town Bar

“How did you do that!” Robbie yelled, hitting Sebastian on the shoulders.

“Do what?”

“You overtook all of them in the twinkle of an eye! How I have to give all my money to her.” He pouted his mouth like a baby after he finished talking.

“You placed a bet?”

“Yes. She placed her bet on you, and I placed my bet on Tony. Unfortunately, you won and I have to give her all my cash.”

Sebastian looked at Stephanie, and she smiled.

“It was just for fun. You don't have to give me the money. I wasn’t going to release mine either, if he didn’t win.”

“Thank you so much! Now I can have more cash for us to celebrate. So, where are we going tonight, Sebastian?”

“You know where I would go after such an incredible race. You don’t have to ask me.”

They both laughed, and Stephanie stared at them speechlessly. She had no idea what they were talking about. Robbie looked at Stephanie and saw she was lost in thoughts.

“It’s the Old town bar, Stephanie. I still don’t understand why he is so old fashioned.”

“Are you serious, Robbie? The Old town bar is one of the best bars in New York. It’s so cool.”

“Finally, I have someone to stand up for me.” Sebastian uttered, and Robbie scoffed.

“Whatever… let’s go. Time is not on our side.”

“I don’t think I can go to the bar. I have to get back to the house on time.”

She looked at Sebastian as she spoke.

“What? No! You can’t go home now… the fun is yet to begin.” Robbie uttered.

“It’s almost ten, Robbie. I didn’t tell my parents I would be going to a bar.” Stephanie said, hoping Sebastian would take her home.

She was the worst drunkard ever, and she didn’t want Sebastian to find out.

“Please, Stephanie. I promise not to take much of your time. I need you to be there with me.”

Robbie smiled widely and blinked his eyes like a doll. Stephanie bit her lower lips thinking about it. She nodded and Sebastian smiled widely.

“Thank you.”

“Aww… you two look so cute together.”

“You think so?” Sebastian asked, looking at him.

“We are just friends, Robbie. You should get used to that.” Stephanie mumbled, and Sebastian gulped.

“Sebastian!”

They all turned to the direction of the voice and saw Jennifer walking majestically to where they stood.

“Oh, no. Can you please sleep with her once, so she can stop bothering us anytime we come here?”

“Shut up, Robbie.” Sebastian uttered under his breath.

“Hey, Jennifer.” He walked up to her before she could get to where they stood.

“Are you leaving already?” She asked, moving her body seductively in front of him.

“Yes. Why?” Sebastian kept a fake smile on his face.

“I was thinking of taking you to a bar. You know, to have a few shots, and later… we can head to your house, or my house…”

“I’m so sorry, Jennifer. But, I have plans with them already.” He turned to look at Stephanie and Robbie who stared at them with weird eyes.

“Well, I guess another day then. I don’t think I can party with them.”

“Are you sure? You can…”

“No, it’s fine. We’ll just go another day.”

Sebastian nodded, trying to hold back the laughter that threatened to fall out of his mouth. She gave Stephanie one last awful look and walked away.

“She hates you.” Robbie uttered, and Stephanie rolled her eyes.

“I don’t like her either.” She responded, and Robbie laughed.

“So, can we go now? I think that was settled well.” Sebastian with a large smile on his face.

They walked to where Sebastian’s car was parked, and they all hopped in. Robbie sat in the front seat, and Stephanie sat in the back seat. Sebastian ignited the engine and drove out of Farmingdale.

They got to the Old Town Bar, and Sebastian parked the car behind the other cars that were arranged in a long queue from the door of the bar, down the road.

“There are so many people.” Stephanie stepped out of the car, and the men did the same.

Sebastian was still looking very hot in his jumpsuit, and the ladies couldn't take their eyes off him.

“You always drive the ladies around here crazy. How do you do that?” Robbie asked after he noticed the way the ladies drooled over him.

“I don't know what you are talking about, Robbie,” Sebastian responded, ignoring the women.

Stephanie walked next to him quietly. Some men hung around their cars and the door of the bar.

These men looked at them, and as soon as they saw Stephanie, they were astonished.

“Why would a lady be this hot?” One of the men that stood at the door said aloud, and Sebastian shot him a glare.

The bouncers at the door opened the door for them to go in, and they marched into the bar. The soft R&B music in the bar filled their ears. There were more people outside the bar compared to the ones inside.

They walked to the counter and sat on stools in front of it.

“What would you like to have, Mr. Handsome?”

The female cashier behind the desk said, facing Sebastian.

“He is not here alone. Aren’t you supposed to ask all of us?” Robbie uttered, looking at the woman in disgust.

“You shouldn’t blame me for your not being attractive, okay?” She rolled her eyes and faced Sebastian again. “You should not talk like that to customers. He is my friend, and if you don't treat him right then, we will leave your bar. There are many bars out there.” Sebastian uttered.

“Okay... I’m sorry. Cool?” She reluctantly said.

“Whatever. What would you like to have, Stephanie? Ladies first.” Robbie looked at Stephanie. She smiled and looked at the back bar.

“Errnnn... Martini should be good. What do you think?”

“That is cool. I'll have that too.” Robbie said, and they both looked at Sebastian.

“What are you all looking at? What else would I have if not Martini?”

The cashier woman smiled widely and got to work.

“Martini is one of my favorites,” Sebastian said in Stephanie’s ear.

“Really?” She giggled.

“We have many things in common, Stephanie.” He stared into her eyes, and she quickly looked away.

“I don’t think so…”

“Hey, Sebastian Coleman!” A young guy interrupted Stephanie and tapped Sebastian’s shoulder playfully.

“Hey, Nichole! Stop yelling my name like that, okay? I have always warned you.”

Stephanie took a close look at Nichole, and she found out he looked familiar.

“I’m sorry. I…” he looked at Stephanie who kept trying to recall where she had seen him from. He created his brows immediately he recognized her face.

“Stephanie? Is that you? Owen’s girlfriend?”

Stephanie’s eyes widened immediately she remembered where she had met Nichole. He was one of Owen’s friends. He introduced Nichole to her during one of their dates in a restaurant. Nichole was a worker in this restaurant.

“You know each other?” Sebastian asked in confusion.

“Wow… is this you? What of…”

Stephenie sprang to her feet before he could complete his statement, and ran out of the bar.

“Stephanie!” Sebastian called, running after her.
