Reiner's POV:

The helicopter hovered above the tall city of New York City, giving a refreshing view after so many years on the island. It's been like forever since I took a break from the island. Last time I came to New York was to witness Sylvester's wedding to Mariah.

Laura was seated beside me, admiring the view. It seemed this was her first helicopter experience. She was acting like a kid on Christmas Eve.

"Laura, are you aware Griffin Groups is worth billions of dollars? The company's a big organization— too big for a single person to handle. That's why it's important we work together, Laura. We will have many people under us. Let's not screw this up."

Laura rubbed her palms on her flannel pants. There was a long pause. I could hear her breathing.

"I'll do my best," she says. "Even though I'm a bit nervous handling a multi billion dollars company alongside with you, I won't disappoint you."
