LOGINChapter Three : My Thoight
Leah’s POV
After cleaning myself up, I stood in front of the mirror for a while, staring at my reflection without saying a word.
I still could not believe what I had done.
I had spent the night with a stranger.
Whatever happened last night had happened because I had been hurt, angry, and desperate to forget everything that was happening in my marriage, but that did not mean I wanted to carry the memory with me for the rest of my life.
I took a deep breath, picked up my things, and left the room.
The moment I stepped outside, the cool morning air touched my face, and I breathed in deeply.
I needed air.
I needed to clear my head before going back to my room and facing another day of thinking about Adrian and Penelope.
I slowly walked downstairs, keeping my hand on the railing as I made my way down.
The house was unusually quiet.
Most of the servants were probably still busy with their morning duties, and I was grateful for the silence because the last thing I wanted was for someone to stop me and ask where I had been all night.
I reached the lower floor and was about to walk toward the main entrance when I noticed someone sitting in the chamber parlour.
I stopped.
My eyes immediately fell on the man sitting in the wheelchair.
My heart skipped. It was him.
The stranger from last night.
I stood completely still.
For a moment, I wondered if my mind was playing tricks on me because there was no possible way he could be here.
My heart began pounding violently.
If someone saw us together, what would I say?
If the servants knew him, what would they think?
If Adrian discovered that I had slept with another man while we were still married, there was no way I could explain it.
And if the pack found out, I did not even want to imagine what would happen to me.
I could be cast out, I could lose everything, I looked toward the hallway, suddenly afraid that someone might walk in.
Then I looked back at him.
He was still sitting quietly in the wheelchair.
He looked completely calm.
Almost as if my presence did not surprise him at all.
I could not understand how he could be so calm when I felt like my entire world was falling apart.
I slowly stepped into the room.
His eyes moved toward me.
The moment our eyes met, my heart beat even harder.
He recognized me.
I knew he did.
There was no doubt about it.
But he said nothing.
Neither did I.
I stood there, frozen, unable to decide whether I should run away or demand an explanation.
Finally, I gathered enough courage to speak.
“You…”
My voice shook badly.
I quickly glanced toward the doorway again before looking back at him.
“What are you doing here?”
He remained silent.
I swallowed.m“Do you know where you are?”
Nothing. His silence made my fear worse.
I lowered my voice. “You cannot be here.”
His eyes remained fixed on me.
I took another step closer, then immediately stopped.m“You need to leave before someone sees you.”
I turned away, hoping to leave before anyone else came into the room.
Then I heard footsteps.
I froze.
I knew those footsteps.
Adrian. I turned slowly.
Adrian walked into the chamber parlour, and the moment his eyes landed on the man in the wheelchair, his entire expression changed.
He stopped.
For a few seconds, neither of them spoke.
Then Adrian’s face hardened. “What are you doing, brother?”
My heart stopped. Brother?
I looked at Adrian. Then I looked at the man in the wheelchair.
My eyes widened. Brother?
I stared at them again, and only then did I notice how similar they were.
The same dark hair, the same sharp features, the same eyes, the same strong jaw.
They looked almost exactly alike. I felt my hands begin to shake.
They were brothers.
The stranger I had spent the night with was Adrian’s brother.
My husband’s brother.
No! My mind refused to accept it.
I took a small step backward.
The man in the wheelchair looked at Adrian with a faint smile. “Won’t you welcome me, Adrian?”
There was something cold in his voice.
Adrian did not smile. “What are you doing here?”
The man leaned back slightly. “Why are you so concerned?”
“You know exactly why.” Adrian’s voice was tense. “You shouldn’t be here.”
The man’s smile disappeared. “And why is that?”
Adrian looked at the wheelchair. “You are in a wheelchair. You lost your wolf. You should not be here.”
I stared at him.
Lost his wolf? Why? How? He doesn’t even look like he did?
The man slowly looked down at his hands before raising his eyes toward Adrian again. “Did I?”
Adrian’s jaw tightened.
The man continued calmly. “Or did you have something to do with it, Adrian?”
My breath caught.
Adrian’s face became darker. “Watch what you say.”
The man gave a quiet laugh. “I think you should be the one watching what you say.”
I looked between them, completely confused, there was something between these brothers, something serious, something that had happened long before I came into their lives.
Adrian took another step forward. “You have no reason to come back here.”
“I have every reason.”
“You lost everything.”
The man’s eyes hardened. “No.” His voice was quiet, but there was something powerful behind it. “I was made to lose everything.”
Adrian stared at him, then tension between them made it difficult for me to breathe.
I wanted to leave, but my legs refused to move.
I did not understand what was happening, yet somehow I knew I should not be standing in the middle of it.
Adrian finally spoke again. “Even if you are back, you have no chance of becoming Alpha again.”
My eyes widened. Becoming Alpha? What was he talking about?
The man in the wheelchair remained calm.
He looked directly at Adrian, and a small smile slowly appeared on his lips. “Let’s see.”
Adrian’s expression changed.
The man did not look away, neither brother spoke for several seconds.
I stood there silently, trying to understand everything I had just heard, then the truth hit me all over again, the stranger from last night was not just some random man, he was Adrian’s twin brother, he had returned to Moon Crest for a reason and judging by the way Adrian looked at him, his return was the last thing my husband wanted.
I felt my stomach twist, I had gone to a bar because I wanted to forget my husband, I had spent the night with a stranger because I wanted one night without pain and somehow, that stranger had followed me straight into my home.
Only now, I knew who he was, his name was Damien and he was Adrian’s brother.

Chapter Two : Who’s he? Leah’s POV I woke up with a pounding headache and no idea where I was.For several seconds, I simply stared at the unfamiliar ceiling above me, trying to understand why I wasn’t in my bedroom at the Moon Crest pack house. Then I remembered, the bar, the drinks, the stranger. My eyes widened as I slowly sat up.I looked around the room, and the memories from the previous night began returning one after another, not clearly enough for me to remember every detail, but enough for me to understand what had happened between us.I looked down at myself and quickly checked the sheets. My heart sank. Chapter One : His Action Leah’s POV“Please, Leah. I need you to understand.”Adrian’s voice was behind me, low and careful, the same voice he always used whenever he knew he was about to hurt me.I stood beside the window of our bedroom with my back turned to him, staring at the dark forest beyond the pack house. Moonlight spilled across the trees, but I could barely see any of it because my eyes were already burning with tears.“Penelope only has a few months left to live,” he continued. “Her condition is getting worse, and her last wish is to marry me and become my Luna.”My fingers tightened around the curtain. There it was, again, Penelope. $:: name had become a wound in my marriage, one that never had enough time to heal before Adrian opened it again.I slowly turned around.Penelope stood beside my husband. She looked pale, almost fragile, with one hand pressed against her chest and the other holding Adrian’s arm. Her eyes were red, and her breathing sounded weak. But I knew h
